Planning on touring March 14 - 18th. Undercover Tourist predicting 7/10 almost every day mid-week. Would you recommend getting the Express Pass? I've already purchased the tickets through Undercover Tourist. Is it even possible to upgrade and existing ticket? If so, is this something I would do at the gate upon entry? Thanks

You can buy the ep online

And you can buy them in the park

Going during spring break periods, you'll see long lines and waits

Not sure if this helps or not, but touringplans.com predicts 4 and 5 out of 10 from March 14-18. I've heard some folks mention buying in the park if you feel like you need it.

SA, that's a good sign.
hope it stays that way and not rise in crowd numbers

In our experience Spring Break isn't too bad with waits in most cases, I still don't think express pass is necessary then (maybe just do stuff like Despicable Me or Transformers really early or much later on)

Most people find it easier with EP........that's great you don't mind waiting, but queues can be horrendous according to most people that go then.

We go at a so called quiet time and see queues for the Hulk reach 90 minutes, DM can be well over 100 minutes easily........RRR was well over an hour last September for the regular queue........on all rides we were on in 5 minutes or so. That's a huge difference to me and my time..........

OP........wait till you get in the park and decide if you need them or not.........crowd predictions can be wrong, but I hope you have a great trip regardless.

I guess we don't go on a lot of the most popular attractions. We went there last year during Spring Break, highest wait I remember was Transformers at 50 for part of the day (non-single rider)

park attendance grows each year.
it is hard to predict crowd sizes in advance sometimes

for me, it is better to have the luxury of the ep and ee

i would rather have that option than not have it

vacations are meant to relax and have fun.

if you do have the deluxe hotel perks, you won't be dealing with rushiing through each ride in the parks to see it all.
you will have time to go at a slower pace and be relaxed after your vacation is over.

no needing a vacation from a vacation when you return home.

We go on everything, numerous times........and 50 minutes is a wait we wouldn't make.

EP makes that possible for us. For people only going for a day or two I see it as an essential part of a trip.

We actually did single rider on Transformers so we didn't wait that long. Didn't realize that other attractions besides Despicable Me could get similar wait times

Yep, they certainly can........why we won't go without staying onsite for unlimited EP :thumbsup2

We did the Hulk 3 times in 15 minutes with EP when the queue was 90 minutes last year.

glad about my decision to book 1 night at PB (staying at CB) for the 2 days of EP!!! I think it will be worth $375 for the 4 of us
