More to come, maybe tomorrow!

Wow, what great pics, especially this night shot. What kind of camera do you have? All my night shots of the MNSSHP are ick! Thanks for sharing your pictures...I loved going in September as well!

Hmmm, I think this is one I took with my Canon XTi. I have two cameras myself, the Canon and a Sony Cybershot. I also have posted pictures from my mom's camera which is also a Sony by different model. My mother in law also had a camera, but I don't think I have posted any pictures from her. She tends to take the same pictures as my mom and I take. You know the stay there I want to take your picture too...

I can check at home. I have them sorted by which camera they came from.

EDIT: From the file names in Photobucket, I think my mom took that one. She also has a Sony Cybershot. Different model than ours. I took these two during MNSSHP with my Canon.

In that June pic I about croaked over, I have to wonder if something hadn't just finished up (like a parade) b/c almost every single person is headed towards the castle. Hardly anyone is even looking the other direction.

God I hope that's it. ;)

Main Street always feel this congested to me. I think it is like a bottle neck. maybe it's just me.

Not trying to "rain on peoples parade", but both TGM and UG give all of June a similar rating as they did to Spring Break. The Easter crowds will also be thick.

I know that not all schools are out by the first week of June, but I don't think you should expect parks to look like those pics from the first week of June '05. They're gonna be a lot more crowded. I know there are better hotel deals than the 4/3 that Disney offered, but a lot of families who wanted to stay on Disney property before could do it now with the 4/3 deal. And so they booked. My week in June was booked solid when I tried to change my trip by one day last week before the deal expired. I couldn't change my trip because there was no availability for my week. I know this doesn't mean all the hotels were booked full. I know it means only the rooms available to book under that promotion were booked, but that's still a lot of rooms booked.

Then, you have Space Mountain, which usually gobbles up a large segment of park population by luring them into its ever-increasing line, under rehab. Where are those folks gonna go? Oh, snap! To all the other "thrillers" at MK, making those lines longer. Also down are the less-popular Hall of Presidents and TTA. While not nearly as much of a population gobbler as SM, those folks that would have been in line for them will also be in other lines throughout the park.

I am going expecting both TGM and UG guide to be wrong about their predictions and for it to be more crowded. I am planning my trip as if it will be wall-to-wall people. :scared1: Then, if it's anything less, I can be pleasantly surprised. :rotfl: My last trip was during Mardi Gras '08. Now that's a beautiful time to go! (As long as it doesn't fall on the same week as President's week like it does next year.)

My boss and her family just returned from a week at WDW. She said all of the lines, even the lines for the less popular rides, were packed. She told me to fully expect June to be scorching hot and crowded.

Doubt it. I am willing to bet you some reall money too! I cant wait to take pictures to show it was not bad!

I was told last year that port aventura in spain would be packed on memorial day it wasnt our longest wait? 1.5 hours!!! for the newest coaster after that all the other rides were less than 10 minutes! Somhow we never hit crowds even if we try!

We went to Dollywood on a saturday in aug last year.(we never go on a sat or in aug due to crowds.) The workers there said we just missed all the crowds by one day! It just never happens to us so therefore I know it will be just fine! ;)

It better be too because this is the first trip adn probably the last (theres just more eciting parks to visit imo) so if its not good there will be a review on my blog. lol!

*faint*

Man, I've gotten spoiled going to Disney in early February. I think I would just turn around and go back if I saw those crowds. Guess I'm not that hard-core. :)

I'll be sure to post crowd pics when we get back.

Thank you!!! I was thinking the same thing.

We do Jan/Feb and Sept - and even with free dining, Ive never seen people like THAT! :faint:

OMG! Love your dog thrown into your pictures! What a great idea! My DD would get such a big kick out of that! How small is that picture so that it looks realistic? I'd love to try this myself :)

Tues. March 24th, 2009-6:30pm (shortest wait we saw there all week other than at park opening, it usually hovered around 100 minutes. fastpasses ran out at noon that day, we got the latest possible return time slot and the machines ran out not 5 minutes after we got ours.)

Hi Everyone- We are going June 9th for one week. We normally take our trips Sept thru Nov and in February; so we are not use to the crowds. I have a bad feeling about this trip. Does anyone have early June photos to share?

September please!! We have never been during labor day-Nervous. Last October 21-26 it was packed!!!

It was a normal 4 by 6 - with him as the main subject of the picture, if that makes sense. Lemme look at it.

His height was about maybe 3.5 - 4 inches tall.... I also (if you notice) cut the picture out with a strip I could hold onto. So, he could be in all the pics without my thumb. :)

The characters liked it too. I had 2 pictures.... One of a good close up of his face, that Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, - they all held, too. :lmao:

It's really good. I have no pics - but it's not anything like late October. September is a fantastic month to go. :thumbsup2

WAIT! You can see my thumb in the first picture - you can kinda use that as a judge of the size of it. :)

I am loving this thread!!! We are taking our first trip to WDW Sept 18-27 so the Sept pics have been great. I had read here that crowds are pretty low, but to actually see some pics is really great. It is also interesting to see pics of different times of the year. Keep them coming!!

I'm loving this thread!!! We're going at the end of September, and I'm really happy at what I'm seeing :) :) When we lived in FL we went Mem Day weekend, July 4th, Christmas week, and various other times over the summer, since moving here we went in mid Feb and loved it, but FD got the best of me and were going 9/22-9/27
