I swore I would never go to WDW over school vacations, but the perfect storm of crazy circumstances will find me at OKW over the week of 4/21...and you don't even want to know how much I just paid JetBlue for my flight from BOS-MCO...the things we do for our children...even the 30 somethings.

So, with that said, what will the crowd levels be at the parks during my 6 days in Mouseland ? Would I be better off just renting some clubs and hitting the links for a few days !!!

8 and 7 out of 10 all week. It's probably going to be packed. Best of luck, though.

I'm headed there Apr 25.

It will be packed, since it is around Easter. Like, closed to capacity some days, packed.

We went during the week around Easter 12 years ago, and I promised myself that I would never do it again. In spite of that, I am seriously thinking about making a quick 2D/1N visit for my son's birthday the following weekend. I'm terrified, but I really hope the crowd calendar is at least sort-of accurate and the crowds aren't so bad. Delusional? Probably. :rotfl: :scared: :crazy2:

Regardless, I sincerely hope you have a fantastic vacation!!! :goodvibes

I don't think it will be anywhere near capacity crowd levels. The World Cheerleading and Dance Championships begin on April 25-28. Most athletes will arrive on the 24th. Disney does not typically host big championships during peak weeks. The competitors should not impact park crowd levels much at all but the All-star Resorts will be full of athletes. If you're in Epcot over the weekend, check out the dance championship. There are some amazing dancers from all over the world!

We'll be right there with ya. We're coming from a bit north of ya. I got super lucky on flights out of BOS considering we didn't decide on this trip til the end of January. Our trip is the 20-25, but I found flights on the 19th for $120ea, so we are staying overnight at the Hyatt in MCO. I just booked our return flights last Friday when I stumbled upon JetBlue flights nonstop from MCO to BOS for under $200ea, when every other flight into New England is at $400 to $500 range.

It will be busy, yes. But, I.do.not.care. I am buried in 15ft snowbanks with more snow coming tomorrow, and next Wednesday. This is our 9th trip. We are very anti-commando, yet we try to hit rope drop if at all possible. Our motto is,"We will do what we can, and if there's something we can't get to, we'll do it next time". My big goal this trip is to stay late at MK....it's open til 1am on Easter. :thumbsup2

Touring Plans is predicting lesser crowds than easywdw or than I thought because it is not Easter week it is the week after Easter. From what I understand the week leading up to Easter is when the park may close due to capacity. I was surprised to see some nice discounts for that week, which makes me hopeful that maybe the crowds won't be out of control. Either way we will have a great time :) but I am hoping touring plans predictions are correct!

You'll be facing high crowds with possible capacity closures depending on the park and day. Both EasyWDW and Undercover Tourist are showing crowd levels between 7-10 for the 21st-26th. The week prior will be busier but the crowds aren't going to diminish overnight once Easter passes.
