Crowd levels on MLK 2008? Avoid? Go?

I have three small ones and was thinking about long USO weekend on the MLK weekend in Jan, 2008, but we just can't do it if it's crowded. The kids will be 4/4/5 at the time of that trip. Last year, we went to Disney for our first and last trip on the President's Day weekend. I could almost smell the New Jersey snow, if you get my drift! Ok, I'll leave the comedy to the professionals.

So I know that most of January and Feb have low crowds, excluding New Years and Prez Day. Would some USO experts to tell me if MLK weekend has significant crowd spikes over other weekends during that time, or are they about the same?

So go or avoid the MLK Weekend? If I do go, should I stay on property (to get FOTL) or could I get away with off-property (to appease my tight-wad tendencies)?

The crowds should spike some since the kids are out of school but I don't think they would be huge. I would recommend staying onsite and getting the FOTL access and the crowds won't matter.
