Can anyone report on the crowd levels in the parks this week. I booked the bounce back offer next year for a week starting today. Other than the bad weather how is it at Disney this week ? Thanks.

I leave tomorrow, so I can update you when I get there (assuming I get wifi somewhere). Otherwise, I hope someone else helps you. We've gone twice (this will be #3) the last week of Sept, and never had a problem with crowds. We've done RnR 7 times in a row, waiting only for the pre-show, to give you an indication. Also, I've never been to WDW when it was raining, so if this upcoming week is bad, it will be the first for us.

I'm hoping to book the bounceback tomorrow, after I arrive for the same week next year.

I got back on the 18th...it was pretty busy while we were there (arrived on the 12th). We saw lines going over 60 minutes for various rides. However, on our last day, crowds dropped considerably and we only saw one ride at MK that had a more than a 5 minute wait (it was Jungle Cruise at 10 minutes).

We're leaving on the 29th and I know that's into Food and Wine, does it effect the crowd levels at parks other than Epcot?

Was this during the morning? Or, were crowds still low in the afternoon?

I don't think you will find WiFi available especially not for free.

Got back the past monday and we were surprised how busy it was.. Making us wonder if there is any slow times anymore.?? The restraunts were packed by 5pm. The Poly was complete chaos during the weekend.

There is WiFi available at pretty much all the delux resorts I think but there is a charge. I also hear there is high speed internet in all the resort rooms by now but again there is a charge.

Though I plan on taking advantage of the in room internet for my online classes this coming week.

This one puzzles me. We have gone the past two years this time of year. Both times I thought it was not crowded at all, my DIS friend thought it was crazy. She is expecting it to be busy when we arrive tomorrow, I am not. But I have to wonder what each individual person considers crowded? I have heard both crowded and not crowded all over various posts.

Compared to the summer, christmas week or spring break it is slow but compared to previous years at this time it was alot more crowed. This is the 4th yr we have gone in September and there was a significant increase in crowds from the previous years.

I have a theory about why some people think it's crowded and others say it was dead. I believe that the people that didn't see the crowds were following the reccomendations of TGM or something similar. We went years ago and had hopper passes. One park would be completely packed and another park would be completely empty. The key is finding out which ones are empty.

We're leaving next week to go to WDW and it will be our first time using TGM. I'm very curious to see if his reccomended park days are accurate or not. His theories look sound, but only time will tell.

My personal opinion based on last time was that Early Magic Hour means the park is going to be busy.

Well this is not necessarily the case. We heard from many CMs that it was considerably busier this year then it was last year at the same time. I do know that park attendance has increased by at least 15% compared to last year according to reports from Disney, which also explains why it is busier. We also park hopped, and saw the same results at each park...and EMH rarely had anything to do with it. In fact, we found it to be just as busy at one park as it was at another park that was doing EMH (whether AM or PM). The very next day after MK had an evening EMH, the park was just as busy as it was the day before. It wasn't until two days after the EMH (and our last day) that crowds died down and wait times were consistent with previous years/reports. And after talking with other guests/CMs, we found that to be true at all the parks. Another indicator compared to last year...the first MNSSHP (on 9/14) was reported to be sold out (we even saw signs go up that said "tonight's event is sold out" making it pretty crowded at the party...and last year the first party wasn't crowded at all.
