We are looking on going the 1st or 2nd week of Dec 2007, but it seems lately that a lot of people are posting about going during this time. Is it getting more crowded-- like the Oct/Nov time has or is it still pretty quiet?

I've gone the day after Thanksgiving through the end of the following week (which is usually the last week of November or the first week of December) twice (3rd trip coming up soon) and have found the parks not that crowded. The only exception to that is the Magic Kingdom on Saturdays & Sundays, as alot of locals tend to visit the parks on those days. I like going that time of the year and seeing everything decorated for the holidays. Definitely gets you in the spirit!

We have noticed a definite increase in the number of folks at that time, (not surprising really since every guide book and website mentions how it is such a wonderful time to go - the secret is out), however it is still fine. We were there in December 2005 from the 4th - 17th and were able to get on to everything without much waiting (the longest was about 20 minutes for Soarin'). I found that the parks looked more crowded, but when you actually checked out the attraction wait times, they weren't bad at all.

We've been there twice, the first week of December, and have not had a real problem with it being really crowded. However, we haven't been there during that time since 2003. We are really hoping that things haven't changed that much for this next trip which will be Dec. 3-13. We love to go at that time of year when we can. It really puts us in the spirit and nobody does it better than Disney. :santa:

We went last year 2nd week Dec and are going again this year 12/9-12/15. The crowds were low....not September low, but pretty good. The secret may be out but that does not mean people can go at this time. School is still in session. When we were checking OUT last year on the 15th there were lots more checking IN. So the second week is definately the way to go. I have also heard the chearleading thing and the christmas parade taping goes on during the first week of Dec...so that is out for us.
