Crowd levels in August 2019?

Trying to squeeze in an August trip before SW:GE hits and the insanity begins. I was thinking of going in mid / late August and leave the weekend before GE's opening.

I checked touring plans and saw that crowd levels at Universal are slated to be a solid 9 or 10 for most of our trip. What gives?! Is something happening that I'm not aware of? Is it because of the new coaster at Wizarding world?

We plan to stay at Royal Pacific so we would have express passes for our universal days. But the Wizarding world is an important part of our trip, so if crowd levels are going to be eye-watering, I might reconsider my dates.

Probably because everyone who had a trip booked in September for some reason has rescheduled it for August instead.
I've read over 100 or more posts in the last day about people re-booking for August to avoid their Sept dates that they had. So i'm guessing that August is going to be busy based on that alone.

Yes, I'm guilty of that myself. I was planning to go in October, but decided to try and skip GE altogether. I'm aware that it will be busier this August compared to Augusts in the past, but my gamble is that it won't be as crazy as the immediate months following GE's opening.

My concern is that according to Touring Plans, it seems that the August crowd levels in Universal will be higher than those in Disney. I'm prepared for about 6 to 7 moderate levels, but there seem to be some days where the predicted Universal crowds go up to 8 / 9 or even 10 while Disney middles around 6 / 7 (pre-GE, I know this will worsen a little). I'm used to Universal crowd levels being a little lower than Disney, so this startled me.

I know I shouldn't put too much stock into crowd calenders, but this is a little alarming. So my question probably is if there's any reason why Universal is projected to be busier than Disney in August (eg some event / new attraction that I'm unaware of. I'm not very up to date with Universal's happenings).

Hopefully I'm making sense!
