Crowd Levels for April 26 - May 6

What will the crowds be like at this time of year...last year we were there in March and it was both Spring break and EASTER!! It was manageable, but I know it won't be as busy this time of the year but still not sure what to expect. Last year we were arrived at Epcot for park opening and immediately went to get Fast Passes for Soarin' and shortly after we got ours they were sold out!!! Would this be likley to still happen in April?

We went during that time last year. It was pretty busy but definitely manageable. I would suggest getting fast passes as quickly as possible though since many sell out. The only park we felt we couldn't do much at because of the crowds was Animal Kingdom. Good luck!

All I've been reading lately on different threads here is that it's supposed to be extremely busy that week. We're going from May 2 - 9 and the days have gone from level 5-6 crowds to all 8's
I'm pretty bummed about this because we picked this week after careful research saying it was a low crowd time. We have traveled during high crowd times (4th of July), so we know what to expect. We're just going to head in at rope drop, use FP, leave after lunch for a hotel break and then come back early evening. The good thing about our situation is we have been to DW many times, so we won't be disappointed if we have to skip some things due to high crowds, but I wish we didn't have to worry about missing anything at all! I'm also glad that we enjoy the resort we are staying at (Poly) because if it's too crazy we'll just hang out by the pool!
