If crowd levels are predicted to be so high, when will Disney extend their hours? Do all parks get extended hours when it is expected to be busy?

We will be there from the 4th-10th. We didn't plan on being there during the Celebration; it just worked out that way. Hopefully it won't be too bad!

We will also be there May 6-13. The same time we usually go because of the great weather and small crowds. This year will be alittle different. Have you all read about Regis and Kelly filming in MK on (I think I have the dates right) May 11 and 12th. I think we will be staying away from MK till night time on those days. :confused3

Be above average, crowds this year have been up during off season and peak times.Throw in the 50th Celebration kicks off on May 5th and crowds will be up.Not like Easter and Christmas crowds but larger than the last few years at same time.Still think everyone with a basic plan in place will have a great time and enjoy some wonderful weather.Have a magical and safe trip. :goodvibes :flower: :sunny:

I believe that you have the dates right. There are quite a few threads going on right now about it so you can probably look it up and see where they will definately be so you can plan around them. I would want to stay away from the extra crowds also. I think I read they were going to record at Cindy's castle which could really mess up MK.

Disney usually changes the schedule about 2 weeks ahead of time to extend hours and add more Spectros. Should be any day now! I am expecting Spectro to be every night for the second week in May!

What is a "normal" spectro schedule? I saw that mentioned earlier, and the last week of this month has them every night, sometimes twice. Just wondering how relevant that is.

More Spectros = higher crowds. Lots of times in slower crowd times Spectro is only on Saturdays and one other night during the week.
