Crowd level week Before / after Thanksgiving

Planning a family trip this year.
We can’t decide between the week before or after Thanksgiving.
Any thought?

I would do the week after so you can experience all of the holiday stuff.

We’ve done both. Crowds were pretty much the same. There were more decorations up the week after, especially in the resorts.
