Crowd level in December compared to July?

I was wondering how the crowd levels during the dates of Dec 17 through Dec 20 compare to the middle of July. Was there during that time and it was insane. Park actually closed because it reached capacity one day!

Which July are you referring to, this year? I don't remember hearing about the park closing this summer due to capacity crowds.

Regardless, chances are slim to none that the parks will reach capacity Dec. 17-20 because it is mid-week prior to schools being released for holiday break. However, the chances are 99.9% that the parks will close due to capacity at some point (or several points) between Christmas and New Year's.

I was at DLR this July and on the day that we decided to go to DCA one of the CM's told us that she heard that DL reached capacity that day.

I don't think there was a time when it did. Anyways, during that time in December the parks will not close due to capacity. The crowds should be slightly lower.

July can be very busy. I would definitely pick Dec. and you'll get to see all the holiday decorations. Have a great time!
