crowd level at evening magic hours in oct.?

We visited WDW in October this year, but stayed offsite so we avoided the parks that had the emh's. We didn't think that the parks were that crowded (we went the third week in October). We are planning on returning next October and will be staying in the park. How busy or not busy are the parks for evening magic hours?

Late October is a good time to go. We just got back (went the 1st week in Nov this year).

For sure the park that is not the EMH is less crowded. We only went to the EMH park a couple of times. Once we were at a desolate MGM and went to MK on an EMH nite.... and we realized where all the people were. While the crowds werent unbearable, there would be some lines.
