We are planning to visit Epcot on the Saturday of Jersey Week (that is, November 12th) during the Food and Wine Fest, but not because of the festival; We just want to go there and it is the only day we can go. Are we crazy? I am hoping the crowds will not be TOO bad...

Any thoughts about or experiences with Epcot crowds during the festival?

Thanks!

we'll also be out there for the festival, and like you this is only by chance. it looks like quite a long running festival which takes place around WS. hopefully it shouldn't effect crowds too much. it would be an expensive day out if you were only going for the festival.

it does get crowded during the weekends of the food&wine events.
The locals come in during that time so it does get crowded but it is
alot of fun. Go right to the countries as soon as they open.

We were there last year during FW fest and Jersey week, Nov. 1st - 8th. It really wasn't that bad, not much busier than our first trip during the Millenium Celebration. I wish I could remember which nite it was during the week that it seemed the busiest but it was still manageable. We went on a Sunday too at the end of our week and I expected it to be packed and to our surprise it was great! Beautiful weather, low crowds...Enjoy! :wave2: Luckily you'll be there at the tail end of the fest, so hopefully it won't be so bad. We found MK to be the worst as far as crowds went that week. go figure!

If at all possible I would go during the week than on the weekend. All of us locals head there on the weekends. And tend to be bussier on the weekends.

I've been there twice during that week, and found its best to go the first weekday(not EMH day) before the weekend. I've always gone at opening and enjoyed the rides. Then ate around the world for lunch :cool1: . I don't like standing at the boths waiting. No lines at this time its wonderful. Tina
