crowd expectations for the week of 5/27

I have friends that are going to WDW during the week of 5/27. They have the dining plan, but haven't done any planning yet! They have asked me to help them. What are the expected crowd levels during that week? Also, are they going to have trouble booking meals since it is so late? When I go, I always book months ahead, but I don't think people realize how tough it can be to get ressies at the last minute. Thanks for the help! I have to say, since I don't have any Disney vacations planned for myself, it helps to fill a void when you are helping others with their trip!!

I'll be there that week. I'm not on the dining plan, but I have ADR's. I think they may have a problem if they haven't already made their ADR's. I don't know how crowded it will be since I 've never been this time of year. There are several events going on that week: Memorial Day weekend, Flower & Garden Festival, Gay Days, and Star Wars Weekends start the next weekend. They should probably call now and try to get something booked. I just changed some of mine last week. I did get the times that I wanted. They may have less to choose from if they wait.
