I never even knew they exsisted! Since we are leaving in only a couple weeks we can't change our days around, but these calendars are saying the days we picked (a sunday and a tuesday) are busy days to avoid. Has anyone planned by going off of some of these calendars? They don't really explain how they came up with their crowd numbers.
Well, if you are going in a few weeks, the calendar I looked at on Undercover tourist looks okay. There are various crowd calendars on various sites and we did kind of choose our week in part on the calendar but mostly on my husband's work schedule. As far as I can tell, it's knowledgeable gambling. One thing they might use is the cost of the express pass at Universal, if you check the Universal website, you will see the cost varies from day to day. The more expensive the fast pass, the greater Universal is predicting the crowds. I also assume the calendars and looking at other special events and general crowd trends over the years. My favorite are the calendars that contradict each other!
Try not to worry too much and plan your visit. I gotta admit that I paid the subscription for *************** and it's brought me a lot of comfort because I started my research late. DH already booked the place and bought tickets, though.
Having the touring plan from ** gives me piece of mind, it's a plan written by someone who knows. I've seen debates on whether it's necessary to pay for a plan and I will leave those to others. I do appreciate those who are willing to share their knowledge for free but I don't have time to comb through the free resources to find the info ( I'm tech able but not tech savvy) and I don't have a lot of computer time.
I think there is a lot of info on these boards but I haven't found an easy way to get to it, it seems to me that you have to read through long threads, but like I said, I'm not savvy, so it might be easier for others.
Good luck, don't worry and enjoy!
