Been looking at a lot of different crowd calendars and they vary on what they say the crowd levels are in later February. Which one do you suggest is the most reliable?

Also, if anyone has been there at that time before, which weekend would be better for less crowds, the weekend of Presidents Day (not including Presidents Day), or the weekend after? Also, would there be significant improvement on the Sunday on the weekend after Presidents Day as some crowd calendars seem to indicate?

In general, early Feb. will see lighter crowds compared to later in the month.

I've used easywdw for our last 6 trips and have been very happy with it.

Presidents' Day weekend is very crowded. The weekend after will have less crowds.

In our experience, yes. There are a lot of school groups, competitions, etc in February but also FD this year. So crowd levels can vary significantly from year to year, so I think that's why they're not agreeing. Weather also plays a big part so I don't think you're going to get the best predictions in February.

Weekend of Pres Day is almost as bad as Pres Day. The next wknd will be crowded, but not so much that you can't wait to get out of the parks. This week is actually the only low crowd level week and it's all down hill from here.

Thanks everyone. So would that Sunday (after Presidents Day weekend) be significantly better than the Saturday after Presidents Day weekend? Some crowd calendars seem to think so, others say it'll be close

The reasoning for that Sunday, February 23 having less crowds than Saturday is that most people take week long vacations. So anyone who came down Saturday, February 15 to stay all of the busy Presidents' Day week would still be in the parks on Saturday, February 22 but would be heading home Sunday, February 23. Since the following week should be way less crowded, that's why Sunday the 23rd is showing a lower crowd level.

Hope it's ok to piggyback on this thread since I have somewhat similar questions. We are arriving Monday 24-Thursday 27th. The crowd calendar I've been looking at has it at 4's and 3's. This looks great to me but I keep hearing about it being really crowded the last of February. :confused3 This is really confusing me. Anyone with info. about this time would be greatly appreciated.

We were there Feb 22-March 2 of 2013 and it was a lot more crowded than we thought is was going to be. We used touring plans website and according to them, it was going to be pretty slow. IT WAS NOT!!! We have been there in January, May, July, and November and that week in Feb was the most crowded we had seen. Also, there is a marathon (I think it is the Disney Princess Half Marathon) going on at WDW one day that week and trying to get into Epcot that morning was a nightmare. It took us almost an hour to just get into the park from the resort bus drop off. I still thing going later in February will be better than President's Week.

The crowd calendars (especially Easy's) tend to underestimate crowd levels in the parks. We're going the last week of February (as are seemingly tons of others), and I would guess those 4's and 3's will more likely be 5's and 6's (and that's if we're lucky).

We were there the last week of February last year. We had park hoppers, and when ended up at a non-recommended park, it was really crowded. The recommended ones weren't too bad, though. Each day had a slow park. Easywdw's recommendations nailed it 4 out of the 5 days we were there.

I'm use to 1st of June crowds so if it's anything like that then I'm o.k. It's my birthday trip with just me and DH. I have a plan and I'm just going to go with the flow and enjoy my celebration. :cool1: Thanks everyone for the information. Hope everyone has a great time.:)

You're Monday-Thursday so you'll be fine. We'll be there at that time too..again, and I'm anticipating lots of walk ons with just some waits ie. the usual suspects. Certainly not what you'd call low crowds but definitely fun crowds.

mhmm. Saturday is always the worst day of any week regular week. Sundays also has MK EMH at night so it's a really long park day so I think the crowds are more spread out.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll try to arrange it for after Presidents Day, preferably Sunday
