Crowd Calendar or estimates for WWoHP?

I am planning to go with my husband, brother, SIL, niece and nephew next summer. Nephew is a HUGE HP fan. My brother wanted to do July 4, but I think that might be too crowded. We can go anytime during the summer, just have to plan around it now in order to coordinate schedules. So, I was wondering from the last week of June to the last week of August- what the "best" time to go would be.

I am a total newbie at Universal/IOA. I haven't been since 2003 when I took my two nephews as little guys, who are now 17 and 18, lol. So, any advice is appreciated.

End of August has the smallest crowds of the summer.

We usually go the last week in August and the crowds are VERY nice. We never had over a 30 minute wait for FJ. We did everything in both parks 2 days in a row. It was so nice!
