Is it just me or has NBC completely ignored the last 2 episodes of last season? I want last seasons finale explained!!

I agree, it has been so long since the last season ended, they should have replayed that last couple of episodes before starting the new season, I was lost.....good thing there was no real story line tonight that linked with past stories (did that make sense....i'm very sleepy).

please remind me, if you will, what happened last season?! I was on the verge of graduating college and getting done tons of work, so I either watched and completely forgot (and it doesn't help that it's been SO LONG), or I was doing something else when it was on and didn't get to see it. Thanks.
