... our offer for a resale at OKW was acepted last Friday and we are on our way over to DVC for the first right of refusal(FRR). Hopefully we won't be a test case for the higher point $$ at SSR going into affect on Monday and have DVC snap up our points.

This is a change for us as we could never make the DVC work out from a financial perspective. We are CBR veterans having stayed there most of our fifteen visits. If you assume you will be staying in a moderate resort for 3-5 nights a year, the numbers didn't work. However, we finally realized that we were wanted an upgrade in the quality and style of our vacations and decided that the DVC was the way to go.

If we clear the DVC FRR, we plan to stay at the OKW Jan 8 - 12, 2004. Is there anyway for a non(soon to be)member to see if a one bedroom villa is available that weekend? (or at any other DVC resort)

Good luck on your resale! We have stayed at CBR four times. It is a fine resort. You will love OKW when you get there. January is a quiet time at Disney and OKW is a large resort. I doubt there would be difficulty in getting a reservation.

I agree with JimC.....you shouldn't have any problem getting a 1BR at OKW during the time you need.Here is the list of total villas at each DVC resort on property below.......

WLV -136 villas
BCV - 205 villas
BCV-208 villas
BWV- 383 villas
OKW - 704 villas
