Crossbody Bag Suggestions for parks?

I love love love Eddie Bauer's sling packs. They've gone through various changes over the years, more pockets, more organization, different fabrics, etc. I have 3, I think my most recent one I got in 2014 maybe. For getting on small rides I just swing it around to the front without taking it off, and for the need to stow it rides, you can either pull them over your head or the strap unclips. Also the strap can be adjusted for length and (best part IMO!) for either shoulder, so you never get that nagging pain from having it being on one side all day/trip.

I'm not entirely sure where to post this, but I am looking for recommendations on a cross body bag to use in the park. Something lightweight with an adjustable strap that I can carry my kids autograph books, wallet and small point and shoot camera in. The last thing I want is for it to become the bottomless pit akin to Mary Poppins magical bag that holds everything included the kitchen sink (literally). I'm assuming I'll be able keep this on during the attractions. But all of my current purses are either too big or leather which isn't ideal for the parks. Any recommendations of durable ones to consider?!

I highly recommend Dooney & Bourke Nylon Crossbody bags. They are slim but will hold your autograph books, large chunky pin, phone, camera, sunglasses and a 16oz Klean Kanteen: http://www.dooney.com/nylon-crossbo...ATN#start=11&cgid=dooney-bags-style-crossbody

The straps adjust on both sides too. Look at Macy's as they have the best clearance price $54 oop!

Cheers!

I have the eBags Piazza crossbody:

I have it in black and it's my every day bag. I've taken it to various southern California amusement parks and day trips, and will have it during our WDW trip this November. Many months later and it still looks brand new. Nice wide strap makes it very comfortable on the shoulder/neck area. It's lightweight, made of durable nylon, and has a place for everything I need. Not a bottomless pit by any means.

I also have this same bag and LOVE it for theme parks. Not so big that you can't take it on all the rides. Plenty of pockets to divide things up. And big enough to fit a bottle of water in one of the inside mesh pockets (and still zip it closed). This bag has been to Disneyland at least 4 times and on a full-week Disney World trip.

I have been through plenty of bags -- too big, too small, backpack, crossbody -- and this is my absolute favorite.

I have the same bag and love it. Especially love the zip out water bottle holder. Taking mine to Disney in August. But it is a great everyday bag too.

The best park bags weighs almost nothing when empty and has a wide strap so it doesn't dig into your shoulder when the bag is full.

If I want to carry very little, I use a silk neck wallet worn crossbody. If I want to carry more (poncho or water bottle), I use a Baggallini. I wish I could use a LeSportsac with a Disney print...but there straps run a bit short for how I like to wear a crossbody bag.

I would highly recommend the Travelon Antitheft classic crossbody bag. It is a nylon material and perfect for Disney. You can check it out on Amazon. I just checked, and it is also available at bed bath and beyond for 39.99. I have used this one at Disney and I am ordering another one in a different color this year. I can't recommend it highly enough after tryi g several other bags.

I have a Bagalini cross body purse that is deceptively small for how much junk it holds-- I have to be careful not to load it up too much or it gets heavy! It has a bunch of pockets that all zip to keep things organized (For example, I can keep my chapstick and sunblock separate from my cash and coins. Very important for a germaphobe!). There are a few different styles and a few different colors, I got mine for about $30 at Marshalls a few years back, but I would even consider paying full price as it has been so useful and stood up to daily use for years now. Good quality!
I am a plus sized woman and the adjustable strap ensured a good fit for me or a friend taking her turn--Usually we pack one bag between us and take turns carrying it. I like to switch sides so it doesn't throw my back out of alignment. Like I said, easy to pack too heavy!

Glad to read a vote for baggallini! I used my vb Hipster last trip, and it really pulled on my shoulder! Thankfully, I won't have baby gear and supplies to pack this time around! Thanks for reminding me about Marshalls! We have a TJ Maxx in town, and I think I've seen baggallini there before!

How wonderful of you to do this! Wish you could break all my shopping down like this. 8-)

Anyone have the baggallini Everything Bagg? I saw that at the store today, and am considering it for our August trip!

For everyday use, I switch off between the Baggallini Big Zipper bag and the smaller version of it (which I think they only make for outlet sales aka TJMaxx, Marshalls). They are indestructible, weight almost nothing, are machine washable, have long straps so you can wear them crossbody way down to your hip, and many have nice wide straps so if you do fill them up, you are still comfortable.

This. I use my Small World LeSportsac every day in the parks.

This is the one I picked up ($20 on ebay) for my upcoming trip. Long term, I would like to save up for one of the Dooney and Bourke 'Disneyana' bags, but not in the budget right now!
