Would I be able to wear my vera bradley hipster or little hipster on me with the restrain? I know ppl with backpacks keep the bags by their legs by looping one of the handle straps thru their feet but what about crossbodies?

I wear a crossbody bag at the parks and always keep it on during R&RC, feels safer!! I just tuck it into the middle between my friend and I, so make a point of wearing it pointing the right way (depending on which side you are riding) before getting in the car. Once you pull down the restraints everything feels nice and secure.

The only time I put my bag in the foot well I spent the whole ride convinced it was going to be lost beneath the tracks... :scared1:

RnR has a good net on the back of the seats to put your stuff in. It closes well. I wear a cross body too, but with shoulder restraints and narrow seat on RnR, I opt to use the net and it has worked fine. :goodvibes

I have worn my Vera crossbody on RNR several times, with no trouble. I just tuck it beside/behind me, and have never had a problem or felt uncomfortable. :-)

I've worn a crossbody purse on RnRC, and I've also shoved it into the little net pouch for loose items. Either way works, there's plenty of room, so whatever you feel more comfortable doing should be fine.

I wear a cross body bag too. I take it off, stick my leg through it and hold it between my legs. Never had a problem.

When I take my purse into the parks (which is rare these days), I wear my crossbody and never take it off. On RNR I position the purse off to the side, it's not uncomfortable at all and fits just fine underneath the restraint. But if you don't want to wear it, the cubby on the back of the seat in front of you is large and will accommodate a crossbody just fine.

I never took my crossbody bag off on any ride that I recall, and we rode RnR several times. It was no problem at all. I just swing the bag closer to my hip and let it nestle there beneath the restraint.

I also worried endlessly about losing my bag when I tried the leg-through-strap method. I don't even remember the ride then-- just fretting over the bag! Leaving a crossbody bag strapped on eases my mind in that regard.

The first time r rode RNR, I took my bag off and placed it in the netting. I couldn't enjoy the ride, because I was so worried I was going to lose the bag when we went upside down. The second time I rode it, I left my cross-body on and just tucked it next to the side of the seat so it was snug next to my hip. It didn't budge during the ride, and I enjoyed the ride immensely!

Thanks guys! I shall leave it on then, my initial concern was the restrain might not lock properly if the bag was under it but it seems like it's not really a big deal now :)
