Cross stitchers: need your help.

I have a design on paper that I want to stitch onto a pillowcase.
what is the name of the clothy paper that you can iron onto fabric that looks like a graph.

Hello in the uk the product we use is waste canvas.

I don't know of anything that you iron onto the fabric that will give you a graph. The only way I know of stitching on something like a pillowcase or shirt is to use waste canvas. You just baste it onto the item you are stitching on, stitch you design, then remove your basting stitches and pull the threads of the waste canvas out.
