Make sure when they give you an estimate they explicitly list the items being moved. We had a company leave out obvious items that would be moved and had issues getting it moved. The truck driver figured out what they did and was not happy with them.

I made the opposite move last year and used a moving company called a1autotransport. Didn't have any issues and they were also able to ship a car for us, which was helpful given the distance. If I remember, they were cheaper than some of the others we looked at, but they seemed a little more "on top of things" that the other cross country options.
