I can't help it, I love Crocs, not just in Disney, but all the time! They are so comfortable and light!

I have been browsing the Crocs website endlessly with ideas for my upcoming trip and for some much needed Spring shopping - what is everyone's idea of a stylish Croc and most importantly- comfortable enough to walk around all day in Disney:earsboy:. I do not have any Crocs flip flops and was hoping to try out a pair before I head to WDW, any ideas would be so helpful! I have my Mickey Crocs to switch into, but I wanted a cooler option, since it will be so hot. Thank you! :)

I also am addicted to crocs, but don't like the look of the original clog style. I second the cleo. These are all I wore a few years ago when I took a Disney trip during a hot September when I was 5 months pregnant. I never had a blister and was always comfortable, even with swollen ankles. I have them in a few different colors and just bought a new pair of the Cleo 2 for my upcoming trip (leaving tomorrow).

I :lovestruc Cleo, and Alice is pretty good too. (Just make sure to try those before you go. I have a friend who must have particularly sweaty feet 'cause her feet slide around in those, whereas I haven't had that issue at all.

Several sizes of Cleo are available for $13.50 right now: thinking of getting a backup pair!

I LOVE Crocs too, my sister hates them. I wear them all the time, my favorite for Disney are the red ones with the Mickey Mouse head, I think I wear have to get a pair sandals though. Cannot believe I don't have any yet. I even have DH in them now.

I agree, I'm not a fan of the original croc clogs...I have been on a quest to find a fashionable croc...I'm awaiting these in the mail for Spring-

Made the mistake of wearing Croc flip flops one day and had the worst blisters. Never again!:sad2:

Oh no! I was looking for a good pair of the flip-flops to wear throughout the parks, maybe I'll just get some to wear at home to the beach.

Avid Crocs wearer here! If you have any kind of foot issues, the Malindi is not great at Disney. I have terrible feet, and the Malindi, though great at home, was terrible for Disney unless it was just for a short period of time. They may be great for someone with normal feet though. I can't be sure of that.

Since you mentioned flip flops, my favorite Disney shoe is actually the Crocs Capris. I have worn out two pairs already. I had zero pain in them. But, as a previous poster said, you have to get your feet used to the spots that may rub. I like to wear them in short slots of time the couple weeks before I leave to get my feet used to the areas that could cause hot spots. They have tons of cushion, so the concrete is not hard on your feet.

I didn't like the Crocs beach clog at Disney, though again, at home they were great. They weren't supportive enough for me, but I also have feet issues. They may be fine for you, but if you are looking for style, they don't cut it.

I am going to try the Patricia 2 this year as it has tons of cushion. I just have to stretch the straps b/c they are pretty small. Good luck!

You probably will have no issue with the Crocs Capri if you wear them a little each day until your trip. Feet need to be callused (not in a gross, ugly way, just in a getting used to the rub spots way.) in order for ANY shoe to work at Disney.

Love my crocs capri- actually have 4 pair. But they kill me in the parks. Good luck!

Were your Capris worn down when you wore them in Disney? I am just curious b/c I find that with my issues, when my Crocs get worn on the bottom, I am in trouble. I would imagine at Disney it would be that way for someone with normal feet. Mine were almost brand new when I went this May, and I had only worn them enough to get used to them. I loved them. I just wonder if maybe your Capris are fine at home even if they are worn a bit on the bottom, but in the extreme conditions at Disney, the wear might have played a factor in your pain. Every day is an extreme condition for me, so I have to be very careful about how much wear and tear I have in my Crocs.

I will probably take 3 pairs with me in October.

The capri crocs I wore to DHS were probably a year old. So maybe that was the problem. I wish I would have had better luck because its so hot to wear tinny shoes. On a side note- my daughter loves to wear her crocs to disney.

That's what I suspected. Before you write Capris off completely for Disney, I would take a new pair that you have worn enough to get used to wear the straps and toe thong hit, but not enough to wear out any of the tread on the bottom. Obviously that is completely up to you if you want to try again. I just know that for me, I can get away with wearing my Capris at home that are sort of worn on the bottom for a couple hours because of how much cushion is still in them, but I would not risk wearing them at Disney. They would kill my feet. Obviously you like that style if you have so many pairs, so I would wager a guess that if they are newer, they will work better for you. I swear I am like the Princess and the Pea. I can feel the slightest flaw in my shoes. Once I kept taking my Croc off b/c I was feeling a small stab in my heel when I walked. I couldn't see anything wrong with them. Finally after like the 20th time of stopping and checking, I bent the Croc in half several times while looking at the bottom. Here a staple had gotten lodged in the heel of my croc, but I couldn't see it b/c the rubber just closed over the holes. It wasn't poking through the top of the Croc, but somehow I felt it through all that padding! Oy. Wish I had normal feet. Good luck with your next pair of Capris!!!!

Oh-and on an opposite side note...My kids usually love to wear Crocs to Disney, but last year my daughter was miserable!! She wore Lily's, and they rubbed her something fierce! It was the first time I have brought moleskin, and she used most of it! I ended up buying her a pair of Mickey flip flops and she did fine the rest of the trip. You just never know.

Thanks for the advise! I may have to get a new pair. (Man - I hate that. LOL) The only place I can seem to locate them is on the official Crocs site. Wish they had more colors.

My Crocs Capri flip-flops were practically brand new when I took them to Disney and I didn't have any issues with them. I did alternate them sometimes, though, once I was there.

No problem!! I always check ebay first. I often get good deals on Crocs there!Good luck!

I think alternating is a good piece of the recipe for pain free (or as pain free as possible) feet at Disney. I wear my Nikes till about 3 or 4 then switch to Capris usually to accomodate the swelling and free my feet a bit!

I agree! I can only find them on the site also, I hate that and then I can't try them on before I buy!

I used my Athena Croc flip flop on our last trip to WDW. I use them all the time at home and I had no blisters. My feet were tired at the end of the day from all the walking but they felt great in the flip flops all day!

Have a great trip!

Does anyone think the Athens flip flop runs big? We were at an outlet last week and I tried some on. Normally I can wear a 7, but those were way too big and I'd need a 6....but they seemed comfy! I went ahead and bought some of the Mickey Athens flip flops off ebay in a 6 but when I arrived I discovered they are too small. :( I guess they don't run the same, now I'm afraid to order online without trying any of the flip flops on. I thought since they were both "Athens" they fit the same.

Since the Capri seems popular, is the general consensus that they run true to size?

Thanks for all of the advice, I think I'll be trying out the Athens and the Capri:thumbsup2. Has anyone ever tried out the Adrina flip?
