JUST A QUICK QUESTION I BOUGHT SOME CROCS TODAY uk SIZE 8 FOR MY HOLIDAY,THEY FELT FINE WHEN I TRIED THEM ON AND I WALKED IN THEM FINE BUT THEY FELT LIKE THEY WERENT GRIPPED ON TO ME ENOUGH ARE THEY MEANT TO FEEL LIKE THAT OR SHOULD I BUY THE LOWER SIZE !! THEY WERE THE CAYMAN ONES.

They are meant to be big, the first time you wear them they feel a bit odd and I was sure mine would fall off but they never have and you soon get used to them.

There should be about 1/4" gap all round so that your little pinkies can breathe. Pull the strap forward over the shoe so it is more like a mule and stand with all your weight on your feet. If there is a gap all around your foot (including the front of your toes) then they are the right size. If not then they are too small.

You can buy 'Turbo straps' for Crocs that allow you to adjust the tightness of the strap. If you've got wide but short feet these are ideal for pulling your foot forward a little.

I live in my Crocs (as you can probably tell!) and they are, without doubt, the most comfortable things I have ever walked around Orlando in. If you are worried about them rubbing work a little dry oil like Baby oil into your feet and they will be fine. To be honest if they are the right size they won't rub.

They do feel sloppy at first but they are great. I trekked around India in mine and had no problems.

for an opposing point of view - i hate my crocs..
i can't stand that squishy feel they have...and i hate the plastic-like material in hot weather...
i walk around in birkenstock sandals all year round (including in WDW)...

I'll take a look when I'm there soon as I love my Crocs too. When I went to buy some in Macy's (Mall of Millenia then Florida Mall) recently for my friend, I was surprised at how empty the racks were compared with last year - I wondered if they were on the way out? Maybe just at Macy's.

Anyway, despite the size of them, I'm going to stock up while I can

Good tip I got from here, was to buy from the Taylor Shoes US website and have them shipped to your resort. I did this with three pairs, saved myself a fortune and you get a lot more choice from their website.

Before I went to WDW, I dispised Crocs, however after the wettest day I've ever seen ANYWHERE! (26th August 2007) I bought a pair of Crocs, and now love them, especially mine, as mine have mickey heads. The only downside to crocs, if you go to IoA and plan to do DD, you have to hold them or as we did, sit on them (I thought I'd lost one when I sat on them)

Oh and yes, there is a Croc shop in MCO, its quite good too, the walls are basically covered in crocs in all sizes, styles and colours.

I love mine, there did feel big at first but I soon got used to them. Bought mine here before Hols to break in but did'nt need to & I have lots of trouble foot wise. DS got priate ones in MK for 1/2 the price.

When you go to the checkout just put in the delivery address of the hotel you are staying at.

We were in Miami when I ordered them so I didn't have a room number at the Boardwalk which is where I had them delivered to. There is a note section so just make you put down where you are staying and when you arrive.

I did actually ring them as well just to confirm they had the correct delivery address and weren't going to send them to my billing address which of course was the UK.

They were excellent. I ordered them on the Friday and they were delivered to me on the Monday.

I love my Crocs I'm a 5 1/2 so i got a pair 38-39 and they a a little big but fine, great to wear in the water parks too. I've had mine a year and it's still like walking on cushions of air. Shame I can't wear them at work.
