Crocs vs. Airwalks? (yes another crocs question.....)

I am considering purchasing a pair of Crocs. How do the Airwalks (Payless Shoes) compare? As comfy? Or don't waste my money - buy the real thing?

A girl I work with just lastnight tried on my Crocs and compared them to her Payless knockoffs and she said, and I quote "I can't believe how much more comfortable your Crocs are in comparison."

So there you have it.

Maybe to some they don't feel a difference.

I tried on a pair of the knockoffs sold at Target and there is no way you'd get them on my feet! They felt like walking on bare cement compared to Crocs.

I went to Payless tonight to look at the Airwalk. They are not as soft as the Crocs I have on. They do have a cool tye die style. DD begged me not to buy them. The holes are smaller on the sides of the Airwalks.

Crocs RULE!!! Everyone on this board knows I am a "tell it like it is" girl. My crocs are great! My 3 year old even has a pair. I tried some of the Payless...um..no...

My feet are sweating like crazy. I also bought a bigger size than I normally would so they would fit in the width, but the back strap is too big.

I havent done any long distance walking in them yet- but I think I will invest the Crocs.

I was going to start a thread asking the same question but kept forgetting. I tried on the Airwalks the other day and they felt EXACTLY like the Beaches i tried on several weeks ago. I loved them. The only thing i didn't like was the color selection, which will probably lead me to get a pair of Crocs. I talked to the employee(at Payless) and she said she wears her Airwalks all the time and wears the little footies with them(which is what I would do with the Crocs also). I noticed absolutely NO difference in the feel between these and Crocs. Maybe its something you don't notice until you wear them for awhile?? Any comments??

I have never tried on Croc's but i do have the Airwalks and i find them very comfortable and to me, they do not make my feet sweat...

When i was buying them, there was a woman there trying them on and she said "I can't believe i paid all that money for Croc's, these feel exactly the same"...That comment is what got me to buy them...

My daughter describes walking in Crocs like walking in play dough" once I have had them on a while. They seem to soften w/body heat. They were comfy.The payless ones hurt the top of my foot and my heels before I left the store.They have Crocs at Dicks sports,the Paper store,Hallmark and Wild Oats grocery store. I feel like they are everywhere! I wore my ugly pink ones in disney and got a pair of sage ones when we got back. I saw several people w/the butter color and like those too.
