I'm trying to buy a pair of crocs for ds age 7. He normally wears a kid's size 1 or 2. What size would that be in crocs?

Thanks!

Try this: http://www.crocs.com/sizing/sizingchart.pdf

and to ensure they are loose enough when you try them on, this is copied from their sizing page:

"THE PERFECT CROCS™ FIT.

Crocs™ should not fit like other shoes:

They should fit very loosely.

The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe.

Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe.

Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed:

You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel.

In other words the fit should be “loose”.

I know that this goes against everything that you have ever been used to in a shoe, but these are the parameters that the shoe was designed to be worn under.

No Pressure points Ever!

To insure that the strap is not pulling your foot into the front of the shoe, rotate the strap forward and determine if your foot rests comfortably in the foot bed and there is room all around your foot. If so, you have the proper size but the strap is too short. To alleviate this issue, work your fingers around the strap and stretch it as you go around being careful not to put excessive pressure on the rivet hole. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the back edge of the shoe. The resin material has memory and will stay at the proper length after one or two of these types of adjustments."

Hope this helps

In case you're buying the Crocs mail-order and can't have your son try them on, I'd suggest buying the next size up from what he usually wears. I wear a 7 or 7.5, and my Crocs are size 8. They fit me perfectly.

My mom wears a size 5, exactly. I bought her the 5 Crocs (children's 3) and they were too snug.

I wear an 8.5 and the Medium 8-9 is a little snug, but the size up was too big.

Thank you very much for the chart! I have another question...

I printed it out and measured his foot. It came right between the child 12/13 mark and the m-1 mark. Should I order up to the M-1 mark? What if I ordered up to M-2?

The shoes are for our Disney trip in 3 months, and we're in Minnesota so he won't wear them again until summer.

Do you think an M-2 would be unreasonably big?

Thanks for all the help!
