Crocs shoes or the ones from Wal-Mart

I was wondering if I should splurge and buy the name brand Crocs or save the money and buy the ones from Wal-Mart. Has anyone used the ones from Wal-Mart? Never wore either so I can not compare which would be better for comfort and blisters. For a family of 4 the shoes will add up! Thank you!

I checked out the ones from walmart but the foam rubber was not as soft as the crocs and did not have much give IMO. I did get a pair of "Doggers" from CVS for $10 that I can't tell the difference from crocs though.

I agree! My daughter always got blisters from her Non-crocs(walmart and target brands.). So, I bought her 2 pairs of the real crocs and they are GREAT!!! Oh wait!...I forgot...The Airwalk brand name from Payless didn't give her blisters at all and she wears them at least 3 times a week to school. She does wear socks with them though. But she wears ankle socks with her crocs at Disney too. This minimizies rubbing.

Definitely real Crocs! I have a cheapo pair I wear taking the dogs out or whatnot, but I would NEVER walk Disney in them... I too prefer socks for the long outings...

No socks in August!!! Buy the Crocs. We did the whole cheapo non-Crocs, turned out to be a waste of money......There is a reason the Crocs are so popular, and it's not the way they look.....Haha!

Def. the crocs. I have croc flip flops from last year. Sooo comfy and they were on clearance at Finish Line... SUPER CHEAP... not sure if they have any left online better off finding them in store

We bought the Wal-Mart versions first, to see if the kids would wear them. The like and wore them and they quickly fell apart. Then we booght Crocs and they wore them just about evey day in the summer.

You guys are awesome! I had gone to Academy on Saturday and bought 2 pairs for 24.99 each (total 54.47 w/tax). Thankfully, we didn't take the tags off, so they are going BACK! I just ordered 4 pairs of Disney caymans, and 1 pair of Disney flipflops for 75.95, plus I got free shipping! So I got 3 additional pairs of shoes for only 21.47. Man, I LOVE a bargain!!!!

I swear by the real Crocs. Well worth the money. I have a pair 3 years old with a few hundred Disney miles on them and they are still in decent shape.

You won't be disappointed. I use to hate Crocs but now I live in the Athens & just discovered the Ithaca's. I just ordered some sandles for my 3 1/2 yr. old & my dh.

I don't know I tried crocs at our local trip to Six Flags Great Adventure and after a full day of running after kids and rushing to attractions my feet were beat. We went back to a hotel (it was a local trip but still a 2hr drive and stayed 3 days) and I saw there was a sneaker store next to the hotel complex bought a good pair of Nike running shoes omg the difference was just second to none. Not easy running after a 6 year old and a 4 year old autistic son.
