crocs question

Ok, so I am new the crocs, but I know many folks on these boards are fans so I am hoping you can answer my question.

Are all crocs not created equal??? I bought a pair at sports authority. they are womens medium size 8-9 and they are the Beach style, they are so chushy and soft. I liked them so much I decided to order another pair on line since the store only had purple ones and I wanted a different color. I ordered the same size and style, just a different color.

Well, they arrived today and they are NOT what my first pair is. They are clearly smaller, even though it says on the bottom size medium womens 8-9 (same as 1st pair) and they are not as "cushy" and soft yet they are the same style (beach).

The only difference I see is that the pair I love is made is Mexico and the small stiff pair is made in China. Could the same product really be so vastly different? If I bought the China pair first, I would never have wanted another pair and probably would have thrown them in the trash.

Is this common with crocs or am I crazy????

I bought Disney Beach Crocs before, in navy, red & light pink. Well my son took the red ones and I wear mine all the time...anyway went to order new ones got another pair in navy and another pair this time Bright Pink...yep bright pink not as soft, cushy or as big as my others

and same as yours all med size 8-9 and beach I thought it was my feet? Until now, cause guess what my Bright Pink ones were made in China??? thanks for making me look

I think the harder ones are Mocks (fake Crocs)

I think I am the only person in my city still wearing them but I love them soo much. So comfy and so easy to slip on.

The ones from Mexico are very different then the ones from China.
DH and I were at the Crocs outlet this past weekend and we hunted for the ones from Mexico.

He has the same issues with undershirts. Ones from Bangladesh have a nicer seam on the neck, the ones from (I think) vietnam have a straight stitched neck and eat the crud out of his neck.

When I worked at shoe carnival we had an entire batch of shoes that had to be sent back. The left shoe was made in one country and the right in another, they didn't even remotely match color wise.

I have 3 pair and didn't notice much difference although some one pair is cayman, one is beach, and not sure about the university logo one. Now I will have to check and see where they were made. Weird.

I just looked at mine and they say made in China, I like them and they fit me perfectly, I been going to order another pair from the croc site but maybe I better not if sizes run differently. My original pair I bought when in Florida last year

Nope, you are not crazy. I bought two pairs of CROCS Beach style from Sports Authority, I actually had my son pick them up for me. Pink and light blue ... he brought them home and the light blue fit great and the pink were too small ... ugh. How odd. Both CROCS both BEACH ...

I guess I will not order on-line anymore since they will most likely be the ones from China. I guess I will just hunt through the stores in search of the ones made in Mexico.

I cannot believe the difference in the product made in China.

I have had the same problem with Levi's before. The made in Mexico Levi's fit me so much better.
