Crocs or Birkenstocks?

I also love my Teva Mush flip flops. They are wonderful!

I have to chime in with a vote for Keens. I wore my best tennies last fall and though I didn't get blisters, still had sore feet one day. My DDIL brought her KEENS and had the happiest feet of us all - and she is a little on the heavy side and doesn't walk. I didn't believe it but day after day her feet were happy. So my other DDIL comes home from China wearing - yes KEENS! Walks all over the place and swears by hers. I am heading out to REI to get me some tomorrow!

I wore my crocs at WDW in January & was pretty happy. Traded off between them & my sneakers. As for Birks, I never found them very confortable. I had a pair in college & they just never "molded" to me the way I kept being told they would.

I would never wear Crocs because of their appearance, comfortable or not.
As I said on the first page, I have plantar fasciitis, and have for many, many years. It's odd, but my feet have never, ever cared how my shoes looked.:rotfl2: They'd much rather not be in pain. Actually, I rather like ugly shoes. I kind of view them as a badge of courage when you have crappy feet and trouble walking any distance at all. Of course, I also have a connective tissue disease, an autoimmune disease (Sjogren's), my husband is a Type I Diabetic (x 47 years), and my mom is dying from an autoimmune disease which has caused liver failure. Amazing how all that changes your perspective about ugly shoes. I'll end up in an ECV by Day 3 anyway, but I'll be in my (pink, black, or brown) Crocs anyway! I still walk as much as I can. ;)
