Do I order a size bigger? Thinking about ordering a pair for DS9. His are about 1/2" to long now which is perfect for him. Should I order a size up to make up for the lining?

I bought the same size, the lining wore down fairly quickly in both of my pairs.

Ok does anyone know what the difference is between the mammoth and the new blitzen?

Big thing I noticed was the strap on the blitzen...don't know if they have the strap on the larger sizes but for the smaller kids sizes I like it.

I just ordered the same size because the lining squishes down pretty quickly. The Blitzens are cute - the differences are the patterns on the lining and there are fewer holes on the top. I think it's the Wooly Mammoths have the straps.

blitzen with strap...with removable back strap for support (back strap available on sizes 6/7 -12/13).

Dont see wooly mammoth for kids...

so strap and 3 holes. Though I guess at 9 they are bigger then the strap size...just thought that was a nice add-on for younger kids.

Oh and because I didn't answer...I bought a size up for ds. although now that his foot grew, its not necessarily a size up. But I figured he was wearing with socks so would need the extra room.

I need a size up in the mammoths, even with the lining squishing down I need it... besides I do wear socks with them if it's too cold. BUT my friend has to get the same size because even with the full fluff lining the one up is too big. We're thinking it depends on where you fit the regulars... like I wear an 8-9 in the regulars and I'm usually a 9. She wears 7-8 in the regulars and she normally wears a 7. So her being on the small end of the size and me on the large end I go up for mammoths she stays the same. Hope that helps some! :goodvibes

It really varies.. for instance I am a women's size 8, and I order the exact size and they fit perfect. But for my son I have to order an additional shoe size or they fit him too tight. Sorry if this just confused you a bit more.

By the way, I was at the croc outlet this past weekend and they had buy one get one offer. The way it worked on the mammoths is you buy one at regular (outlet)price $14.99-$29.99 depending on the color, and you get a second pair free. Of course the second pair could not be a mammoth.
