I guess crocs are made of some kinda special stuff, I don't know what. They look like plastic but they are'nt. They say your feet don't sweat and they are very comfortable. I will put them to the test.

Anybody Know What a "Can Fit Pro" is?

According to the Crocs website they are having an event 8/18/05 - 8/21/05 in Toronto!

Unfortunately, I can't attend as I will be enjoying myself in DL......... :teeth:

But maybe some of you guys could check it out!

I'm interested in trying a pair but can't get away. Anyone know of a Canadian supplier that ships?

No know Canadian supplier at present. I've been looking!!!! I ordered mine from rei.com. They should be here next week (cross your fingers, my fingers and toes) Some are actually made in Canada, go figure but only available in Calgary and maybe Sask where they are made.

I even thought I would try out the cheap knock off ones from Payless first but those darn things haven't arrived in Canada yet either. At least not around here. I go in about once every week or two to check. I'm west of TO.

I searched on the internet for "Crocs Alberta" and saw several sites that ship in Canada. I'll try to find them again and post them here.

My Crocs are on the way. Bought them on e-bay from a canadian seller, located right here in the GTA. Hit e-bay.ca and search for crocs located in Canada. Got a pair of light blue beach for just 26.00 usd and shipping.

Those ugly shoes are mine!!!!!!!!!

Okay I got 'em. First impression ummm they are a little weird. Because they are foam-like as in not flexible plastic or rubber, they actually seemed flimsy, so just strange for shoes. I thought at first they might not fit - size 8 Caymans but I wore them around the house then outside. Your foot actually slides or settles more to the back once you start walking in them (I find) so my toes do not touch the end of the shoe, which I thought they did when I originally just tried them on.

Wore them yesterday for an hour or two and they felt fine. I tried them both with and without the strap. Without is much easier to get on but I was worried about them slipping off. Already they starting to mould to my foot and after a little while in them my feet started to feel pretty secure (without the strap).

Not sure yet if I LOVE them but time will tell. At least they are here before my trip to the "World" which is getting so close

What do you think?

My feet did sweat today but they did pretty good at getting aired out quickly. I mean they can't prevent you from sweating! Even underarm deodorant only helps reduce sweat and masks the smell right? So I'm thinking maybe these are Crocs are like deodorant for your feet and b/c of what they are made of the smell doesn't go into the shoes and hopefully then not back on to your foot. :rotfl2:

Eeeeewwww sweaty feet smell in the summer gross!

Oh no...you will be wearing them for more than slippers. I have read many things...too big , too small, ugly, can't find them....but no one has ever said (i don't think) that they tried them on and hated the way they felt when they walked!!
