Good Day all! Another month and we will be at disney for our yearly January trip so I am getting everything together and came across alot of posts about these croc shoes. Just wondering if anyone knows if they work good for extremely pooh-sized people? I usually stick with my skechers, but still have aching feet and cramping legs after a few hours of walking the parks, so if these would help even a little, I would be willing to look past the style! (LOL, sorry, but the look just makes me laugh everytime I see someone wearing them) Until reading all the posts on here, I had just assumed they were uncomfortable, because they look like they would be. Do they stay on your feet good? The beach ones I mean with the strap across the back? I usually can never wear anything with an open back because my calf cramps so bad from trying to keep them on my feet and not slide off when I walk. Ok, I have rambled on here :rotfl: So anyone that is familiar with them, and know if they help out with the aches and pains of plus size people also, please let me know, and I will be ordering from their website tonight! Thanks! :thumbsup2

Pooh person here....yes. they are wonderful and the only thing that doesn't hurt my feet. I am a nurse and I wear them all day and at home. Don't order them from the crocs.com - unless you can wait forever and a day.

Thank you for your reply! Glad you said not to order them through the website or I would have... I just checked and found out a store here in our mall carries them, so I will check them out there. They do not carry the disney ones though.... so if I like them and want a disney pair also, I wonder if I can order them through the website and get them before Jan. 12th?? Thanks again :wizard:

I ordered mine from nofeargear.com They are on back order and due to be shipped on 12/18. I would order there. They had one pair in stock in my size and I got them in two days from no fear. They are really comfortable.

I have plantar fasciitis, and when I don't have that acting up, I have foot pain. I have no problems with crocs. I wear heavy socks with mine. I wore them in WDW each time and I didn't get one blister.

I have 5 pairs, but they are pretty much worn in. When I got the new Disney ones, they are just super!

Another POOH sized gal...they are comfy! They are foamy-like...super lightweight! I am kind of scared to wear them to WDW because I do well with my Birks or Nikes. They are really, really roomy and my foot swishes around it them. I wear them everywhere, though! I keep them by the door!

The only problem with Crocs is you will either love them or hate them and if you love them, you will quickly become addicted. I'm a RN and all I've worn to work for the last 1 1/2 years is Crocs. About a month ago I wore a pair of Teva tennis shoes to work. After just a couple of hours my feet were miserable. I couldn't believe how heavy those tennis shoes felt, plus they hurt my little toe. I've got the Beach, Caymans, Athens flip flops, Aspens, and Niles in several different colors and they have made trips to WDW with me. When I go to WDW in nine days my Croc Beach and Caymans are coming with me. I'm definitely Pooh sized, by the way.

My 73 y/o mom is Pooh sized and a diabetic with bad knees. She swears Crocs cured her knee pain. She wore her SAS shoes the other day and was complaining about her feet and knees in less than an hour. She recommends Crocs to whoever will listen. She even bought some for two of her sisters who made fun of hers and now has them hooked on them.

Not afraid to say that I am Pooh sized. I love my Crocs knockoffs Nothinz. This past October was the first time I wore them to WDW. I wore sneakers on the first day my feet felt very hot and were sore. I wore flip flops on my second day - no blisters, but my heels were very sore. I switched to my Nothingz later that day for DTD and had absolutely no pain. I wore the Nothingz again the last day and did have some heel pain, but not nearly as much as with my flip flops and no other pain at all.

Nothingz are the same price as Crocs, but a little squishier. I plan on getting some Crocs before my next trip to compare and contrast.

Question - do they stay on your feet well enough to be worn on rollercoasters? Particularly I am thinking of rides like Kraken at Seaworld that are floorless?
I'm guessing probably they wouldn't stay on, but just thought I'd check with the experts!

Can I just say that Nothinz aren't really Croc "knock-offs"...they are like crocs but are not inferior in quality...I guess when people say knock-off I think of something cheaper and not as good...Nothinz are a bit more substantial IMHO...they are thicker soled and squishier and I have found have more arch support than Crocs. They cost the same and I would reccommend Nothinz to people who have worn Crocs and found that they lacked arch support. I was pleasantly surprised...now if they would only make Disney Nothinz!!! They are at www.shoes.com I believe...check them out!!! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know of any stores that sell Nothingz? I'd like to at least try them on, since I've already got 3 pairs of Crocs.

Be sure to break in your shoes before your trip!!! I wore my first pair of Crocs in the parks last year- the first day I got 3 blisters! After they were broken in, though, they were SO comfy!

I wore my new pair on the treadmill for a mile a few days ago- the first 3/4 of a mile there were no problems, but the last quarter they started hurting- ended up with two blisters. Ouch! I guess I need to walk a few more miles in them before they're park ready!

I find the Crocs quite secure on my feet using the strap on the back (I wear them both to work at the hospital and pretty much everytime I go out of the house in cooler weather). Personally, I wouldn't have any fear of them falling off like a flip-flop. However, anyone who wants to wear flip-flops to Disney should try the Teva Mush style. That's just about the only shoe I wear in the warm weather--a little pricey for a flip-flop, but oh so comfortable. Yup, Crocs and Tevas are pretty much all I need ;)

I could have written this. I agree 100%. I wear my Crocs every night at the hospital and just about everywhere else I go for that matter. As far as flip flops go the most comfortable pair of shoes I own are my Teva Mush. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Attention UK Crocs Fans!
I am selling the brand new Pink Disney Crocs (Size Ladies Large) I ordered from the US on ebay to the UK, as they are too big for me.

Item number 190058192103.

It was going to be cheaper then returning them, so I am just going to reorder a new pair in Medium.

I thought I'd let you all know here first!

I am as well a pooh size girl and have worn mine all summer long at the beach around the house and to the store plus wearing them with socks in the winter. I got mine (Knockoffs) at Wal-Mart at the beginning of the summer for 9 bucks. If u have a Payless shoe store near u they sell them for like 15 bucks.I love mine to death my husband cant stand them but I will get new ones for X-mas and when it starts to warm up again..

I too am shaped like Pooh!! and I love my Disney Crocs. I have bone spurs in my heals and I wear my orthodics in them and they are wonderful. I don't let anyone wear shoes in the house so one of my crocs are my slippers that I wear everyday in the house and my feet never hurt. And let me tell you I have aching feet most of the time. I did find that without socks my feet burned like they were ready to blister so now I always wear socks and they are heavenly. I ordered mine from nofeargear.com. Good luck :cheer2:

They had the Nothingz at Supermarket of Shoes (Famous Footwear) this summer but I haven't seen them in my store recently. They were almost as comfortable as Crocs but I decided to get Crocs instead. The Airwalks from Payless also weren't too bad if you are looking for Croc alternatives.

I have been a total Croc convert for days in the parks (and even around town if I'm not wearing my flip flops!) When I would wear "sneakers" - good well fitting Nikes, I would always come home at the end of a day and something would hurt, with Crocs, I do not have that issue. We were in EPCOT for about 8 hours yesterday, and I am ready to head over to MK today.

DD wears her Crocs every visit as well and while not a Pooh sized person, when she wore her sneakers, I would always hear complaints about her feet a couple hours into the day. She has 2 pair of Crocs and a pair of Payless Airwalks which she swears are just as comfy!

My sister who has issues with UGLY shoes wears them as well. She has found for her the Lands End version works better, a little narrower at the toe and a bit cheaper.

PS we are sock-less Croc wearers - generally in FL you don't need socks, and neither of us can stand wearing socks!!!

I have the airwalks from payless. I wore both the airwalk crocs and the tennis shoes at Disney last year. Both did great! No blisters! I am also a pooh-shaped person! I love that (stealing that saying) and also an insulin-dependent diabetic!

I'm pooh-sized, and wear my Crocs everywhere!
I would start wearing them now (even if it's around the house), so that they're broken in for your trip. I didn't do that and at the end of the first day in MK I had a huge blister on the top of my foot. Put a band-aid on it, and the next day I was good to go.
