Which style crocs is best for kids in the park, and what is the best price I can expect to get on them? I need 4 pair by June!

If the kids haven't worn crocs before, I'd make sure to get them ASAP so they have a chance to get used to them. I think crocs are great and super comfortable, but despite what I've read here, mine have to be broken in.

There are so many new styles, I guess it comes down to what kind of shoes your kids are going to be comfortable in. You don't say how old they are or if they are boys or girls, but the classic clog style is always good, my girls have used the maryjane style and liked it a lot, my youngest (8) loves the frederica which is a sandal with a strap on the back, she walked the whole trip in it last summer. I love the crocsband flip which is unisex (DH has a pair too) and would be good for teenagers who like flipflops.

Good Luck choosing! Shoebuy was having a sale, but I'm not sure if it's over yet. I ususally buy from them or directly from crocs.com, depending on who has a sale , coupon etc.

I learned the hard way, if you order from crocs.com and they don't fit it you have to pay to ship them back. It cost me close to $20 because I had to ship them from NC to Canada. So I would look at shoebuy or another website for them.

My kids also like the clog style.

I just bought my girls Mary Jane style crocs for $12.99 at Marshall's. They had the clogs too. They didn't have all the colors but they were the actual crocs brand.

Thank you- that's very helpful! The kids are boys 10 and 8, girls 6 and 2. I was mostly wondering if you should stick only with the classic or if some of the other styles could be just as comfortable for little feet. I will check out shoebuy, and I'm super excited about the marshall's tip!
And thank you for the crocs.com info- that's why I don't buy from Chadwick's anymore- that return policy seems crazy to me in a world of internet shopping! But I digress......:rolleyes1

thanks again!

For your two year old I would definitely get the Mary Jane style. They seemed to stay on my daughter's feet better and she couldn't kick them off easily! Otherwise my son has always liked the regular crocs the best and we have never had a problem with hurting feet, but I would definitely have them break the crocs in!!

Dont put the regular ones on the 2 yr old! We were constantly picking them up as ours kicked them off or they fell off while in the stroller. DH finally said "dont put them on her for the parks!!"

Just an FYI-

I discovered some plain, solid colored (pink, blue, green, black, maybe purple) Crocs at my local Target for like $12.99. The brand was technically "Jibbitz by Crocs" but I think they should be the same as the regular Crocs. They were just the clog style, but definitely more budget friendly if you are interested!

Our Big Lots has been carrying them for quite some time now. Depending on which ones you get, I have paid between $8-10.

We have the clog style crocs, and mary jane, and gabby.

got real crocs with lightning mcqueen for 8.99 at Ross today, clog style. My kids only do well in clog style. mary janes and the ones with the stripe band rub blisters on my kids feet. we rinse ours in the shower at
night after a day at the parks. we have regretted the purchase of every croc knock off we have bought. I buy generic everything and am very budget but fake crocs waisted my money. Kids said their feet hurt at end of day. Now we pick only one or two pair a year and try to pick a color they can where with lots of things. The lightning mcqueens are grey.

Bought some cheap Crocks for my 3 year old grand son last time I was in Orlando at the Crocks outlet shop at the Premium Outlet Mall at Lake Beuna Vista may be other outlet stores in other areas check Google.

Hope this helps
