I will not wear the other ones but I have found the flip flops on www.nofeargear.com I am really thinking of getting them if they are as comfy as the other ones you guys keep talking about are.

What do you think?

Depends if you like having that bar between your toes! I'd say no way, but I hate that feeling!

I do like the new Nile style. A little more sleek...

Oh wow, I think they are REALLY cute - much cuter than the other styles! I just may have to order a pair!

I've been looking at these and may have to consider the Nile's. Any one have crocs for kids to give information about?

I like the idea of Croc flip flops...but I'm not sure I like any of the colors. Both of my kids have crocs. By dd3 practically lived in them all summer. She wore them everyday even into the fall until it became too cold. They were so easy for her to put on and they went to the beach, pool, etc. Also, she has a habit of taking her shoes off in the car and these were so easy to slip on when we got out. We've just ordered her a new pair in the next size for our DW trip in March.

She had purple last year and picked out the fucsia for this year. I'll give them to her for Valentine's Day since they are pink. They sell them at Von Maur and Nordstrom for kids.

I just wear my reef sandles, which I need to replace.

I can't stand the feeling of the strap between my toes.

I have 2 pair of the nile sandals and love them (pink and purple). :thumbsup2 I have a high instep and its hard to get sandals but these are perfect, even for wide feet. I'm not a flip flop kinda gal.

For the child question, we have multiple pairs of them. My parents live in Colorado where these started and my mom has become the "croc fairy". :lmao: Whenever she finds them, she buys them and then ships to all the grandkids. My DD6 has 4 or 5 pair (can't remember), my DN6 has a couple of pair, my DN11 spends the summer with the grands and has more than any of us can count (she's now gotten into replacing the straps with different colors) and my DNephew got his first pair when he was just 1 - they are sooo cute!

My DD wears her crocs in the winter if there is no snow. She simply puts on socks and we're off. She'll wear them instead of her sneakers every time if I let her. Best shoe ever made! :)

I have a question about these CROCS Flip-Flops....why aren't they on the official CROCS website? Are they really even CROCS? I thought these would be the perfect solution for my DH, because he doesn't really want to wear the regular ones, even though I was going to make him. :teeth: But when I went to the website this morning they aren't there? Makes me wonder? :confused3

Edited to add that I found them, they just aren't listed under the shop section. :confused3

Where did she find that small of a size? I can only find big kids sizes. DS wears infant/toddler size 19/20 (European sizing) which is about an infant/toddler size 4 1/2 (I think). (No clue how toddler sizes relate to child sizes...I'm new to all this! LOL)

Also - do you need to wear socks with them? They seem like they would really make your feet sweat and become uncomfortable without socks. I would wear socks for long stints of walking - like at WDW - but I'm wondering about day to day wear...

(sorry to hijack your thread...) :clown:

The only time I plan on wearing socks with my CROCS is when we go in Dec. IF the weather is cool and I'm wearing jeans. Lots of people wear them with socks, but it make an ugly shoe even worse. I wore mine at WDW and NEVER had any problems with them. I never wore socks and even when it rained one day and they were wet they still didn't rub wrong. So, no to socks. You don't need them. I really only notice my feet sweating occasionally and oddly enough it wasn't while walking around WDW and we went in Sept. :confused3

I just ordered a pair for myself and a pair for my DH. I'll let you know! :thumbsup2

Those are so cute! They would be the only crocs I would ever be interested in owning. So many great colors as well.

I just bought a pair of Crocs yesterday in navy blue so far I love them and I don't think you will have to really break them in. Unless it is across the top of foot, that seems to be the only place there are uncomfortable at.

My sis swears by those hideous shoes, and so do so many other people, but they are just so ugly, but the Niles or Flip flops, now there is a compromise I can make. Thanks for posting!! I am definitely going to try them out. As a flip-flop addict, I can't wait!

Yeah, when I got my first pair the first time I wore them I got a blister on the tops of both of my feet. But once they healed I have never had another problem. :thumbsup2

I'm curious about crocs for one year olds too. The smallest size they have listed on the web-site is 8/9 for kids. I found the payless knock-off's in as small as a size 5.

I am confused about kids shoe sizes in general. :teeth: What age would the 8/9 fit? I have boys 4 and 5yr olds. They wear a 11-12 kids. Would they be a 11-12 on the CROCS site or are those gonna be a bigger/older kid 11/12 ?

I;m thinking of the niles too..Just can't convince myself to do the regualar ones, however, my dd (7) has seen them and is dying for a pair. For her for now I will probably get the Payless ones and see how she likes them. My DH was watching a fishing show this weekend (some tournament thing) and my oldest dd (13) looks up and says " MOM look ,that guy has pink crocs on.." .She thought it was hilarious. My DH just rolled his eyes with an OOOkay. LOL....He thinks they are hideous but if I convince him that these are "THE" shoes for WDW he may buy some (though not pink I am sure...) Then I will get the cute Niles and he will be the one looking like a dork... :teeth: Just kidding...I may break down and buy a pair to wear with jeans I"ll have to see.
