Crocs: CRETE or CAPRI... do you own either?

What do you think?

I had to return some RX that my Grandmother-in-law wouldn't even try on. I switched them out for Cretes. I wanted the Capri's for women, but they were out of the ones I wanted in charcoal/blue. So, I got the men's Crete's in all black.

They're made a little differently than the Athens, which I own. Just wondering if anyone has 'em and likes 'em?

I have both the Athens and the Capri and I LOVE the Capri's. They are no where near as bulky as the Athens. The straps on the top are I think vynol with a suede underneath so they lay against my feet much nicer than the Athens which are all rubber (?) and they don't look so bulky. Love them and I will never buy Athens again.

I was so excited about the Capri and the Ithica because of the colors and how much cuter they are but....they don't fit my foot at all. I spent a good half hour at Dick's trying on all different sizes and am very disappointed.

I do love my Athens so I guess I will stick with them. The Cleo style doesn't fit me either. My foot just keeps sliding forward.

Timbbco, do you have a wide foot, by chance?

I do, and I'm hoping the Cretes for men will take care of that.

I do have a wide foot. What a good idea to try the mens, although I couldn't get the pretty colors the width wasn't my only problem though...
the straps were uncomfortable too. The whole construction of the shoe was wrong for me.
I do have a pair of Sassari on order. I so hope they work for me!!
