Sort of, it's $20, but the first 10% comes off the total minus $10, and the second 10% comes off that (but it's close).

Thanks so much! It threw me for a curve at first, I didn't realize that I would be getting the other (ebates) $10 in a later check rather than getting it off right now.

The first time I used it, that got to me too, but I got a check for $40 something right before we left for WDW and then I was happy.

This is their schedule for sending checks:


Jan 1-Mar 31, check sent May 15
Apr 1-June 30, check sent Aug 15
July 1-Sept 30, check sent Nov 15
Oct 1-Dec 31, check sent Feb 15

So the next check will be in time for the holidays.

I like that they have disneyshopping.com as a ebate too, and some other good stores, like zappos.com

They will email you to ask you to fill in the rest of your info. after a purchase gets credited, but if you go into "my account" on the main ebates.com page, you can enter your address and choose whether you want a check or have the money put in paypal. I received a check because I didn't know if paypal would take a cut for receiving money there. The check came exactly on schedule and they sent an email saying it was mailed on Aug. 15.

When I buy from shoebuy.com, my 10% shows up the day they ship them. When I order from jcpenney.com or disneyshopping.com, it takes a few days longer.

Oh and if you return something, try to always do a return and rebuy, rather than an exchange, because some of the companies take the discount back if you return and don't give it to you on the exchange item.

eBates is really just giving the customer the referral/advertising fee that it gets from the stores. Watch the daily doubles there because I've received 20% back from shoebuy a few times.
