Crocs Athens vs. Niles

I have seen so many people talk about Crocs and now I want to try a pair, too. I'm thinking of either the Nile or the Athens - has anyone tried both and can tell me which they think is the better choice to get? Thanks!

I ordered the Niles but they're going back to REI. They seemed to fit but were just uncomfortable. YMMV!

I ordered the Niles last year and while they were very comfortable I thought they were really ugly on my feet so I sent them back. I now have the Athens Flip Flops and LOVE them!

With the Athens, how is the sizing. I am a W8.5... any suggestions? do they run big (get the 8) or small (get the 9)?

BEACH = (Womens) 8-9 FIT= GREAT

ATHENS = (Womens) 7 FIT= GREAT (yes, they ran big)

In every other shoe in the world I am an 8. For years and years I have been an 8.

Thanks everyone! I got the Athens and have been walking around in them all day for the past few days. They are really comfortable, although sometimes I find my heels hurting and that my arches aren't always being supported. Does anyone know how the arch support is in the Niles?

Do NOT NOT NOT get the Niles for Disney!! I took a pair of Niles and Two pair of Payless Airwalks with me last week. The niles STUNK big time. I wore them one day, after wearing the Airwalks for 3 days, and I had major blisters and pain by lunch time!! The have no support and no cushioning, believe it or not. I hated them. Now, I am sure I will still wear them for every day stuff, but for something like Disney, get the original Crocs, or better yet go for the Payless version which is 1/2 the price.
