Crocs Athens for little girls - sizing question!

I love my Crocs Athens flip-flops and my DD6almost7 wants a pair, too. However, NOWHERE around here carries them in the store so there's no way to try before we buy (I bought mine in San Diego and got to try them on first). She wears about about size 1 sneaker in regular old shoes, though she'll probably be grown out of those before the year is out. Does anyone have any advice to give on what size I should probably order for her? I know she's not going to want them as loose as I like mine, so I'd go on the slightly smaller side if I were having to make that kind of decision. Would a 12/13 be too small or should I just go with the 1? They are unisex, right, so does that make a difference in the sizing scheme? Help, so I can decide what to order! Any experience with this that anyone can pass on would be very appreciated!
