I was just wondering how you all do wearing crocs to the parks. I was also wondering about feet slipping. Maybe a little gross, but feet sweat...does anyone have problems with their feet being sweaty and slipping, or have a way to help avoid that. The last thing I want is to be walking around the parks all day with my feet being uncomfortable. Thanks in advance!

I can only speak to the genuine Croc brand, and not the knock offs from walmart etc. Crocs are made of a polyurethane (I think that's what it is called), not plastic or rubber and your feet do not sweat or slip in them. I wear them with and without socks. Sometime the insole area that has bumps on it hurts my feet, so socks make them more comfortable. They are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet or give me blisters. Wore them on my 2 weeks in WDW and no problems at all.

Love my Disney Crocs wore them when we were down to WDW in July and they were very comfortable. If your feet get wet use the strap and they won't slip around. :dance3:

my five year old wore them every day for a week this july and never complained about his feet :thumbsup2

we also learned all about jibits:rolleyes1

I wore them in June and they were wonderful! I did wear socks, short ones that you could barely see so they didn't look too tacky, lol.

Thanks for all of your quick responses. I have a trip in just over 2 weeks...YAY!!! I cannot wait!! I am getting all of my stuff ready and I want to make sure that I will be comfortable. I really don't want to be uncomfortable for 10 days, even though I am bringing a pair of sneakers...my crocs are so much more comfortable :thumbsup2

I do have the real crocs. I pair of the cayman and then also a pair of the Disney crocs (I also have the athens sandles). I will not buy the other ones because it is not the same. I prefer brand name on stuff like this... but I still have some problems, when it is really hot and sweaty...sooo gross!

Thanks, thats what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure that that worked for other people. Thanks again!

I always wear the short ankle socks, I don't like to have them showing. They are the only socks that I own and I wear them year long (except for my fuzzy socks to wear around the house and keep my feet warm) I don't know how socks would do with the crocs while wearing shorts, but I will be sure to try it. Thanks for your advice!

If Crocs could cause MY feet not to sweat I would wear them every day :rotfl2: .

My DD wears them all the time and doesn't have 'slippage' problems at all. Even when they get wet from puddles.

My feet sweat in my "croc" brand crocs. I wouldn't buy frocs! (fraudulent crocs).

I have several pairs and haven't found one yet that my feet do not sweat in. Mine even sweat in the flops, and ecspecially the mary janes!

I intend on wearing mine to WDW in October and will wear socks to combat that problem.

Good luck w/your crocs and have a great trip.

Thanks for the Thread! It is most appreciated as I am on the hunt for another pair of crocs... I want lime green (DIS'ers) BUT, I know I wouldn't wear lime out anywhere but WDW.. so....
I also have dressier clothes for dinner as most of ours are late... more like capri sets.. wondering how it will look with the crocs...:confused3

what do you think?

I think I may be the only one who has problems with Crocs at the parks. Because of all the walking I always get blisters on the tops of my feet and yes they are real crocs. I still prefer to wear them because the bottoms of my feet stay nice and comfy. I have found that I have to wear socks with mine so I dont have the blisters.

Well, I do have sweaty feet and last year was my first year of wearing crocs to WDW and they were so comfortable that I had at long last found something that would NOT put blisters on my feet.:lmao: No such luck, so I have found that either wearing socks or stick deodorant across the top of my feet help to defeat that. My blisters came from where the strap went over the heel of my foot. What an idiot, :rotfl: , I should have put the strap up but I thought I'd have a difficult time keeping them on, duh!!

We're leaving for Disney on Friday. This will be my first WDW trip with Crocs as I'm a recent convert! I will give a full review on how I fared when I return. I currently have 4 pair (3 Beach, 1 Athens) and have not done anywhere near the serious walking that you do in WDW yet in them. BTW, the Athens are only for around the pool. The Beach models will get the real test in the parks.:goodvibes

I'm so sad. I ordered two pair of crocs from ShoeBuy. They were delivered to my front doorstep on a day that I was gone. Someone took them. $50 down the drain and now I still don't have the capris and scutes that I bought.
