CROCS..are you folks SERIOUS!

They look very wide. Anyone with narrow feet find them comfortable?

I also thought the were the ugliest shoes I had ever seen. I recently bought a pair of the Payless brand (Airwalks) I REALLY like them!! I went back and bought the flip flop style ones and haven't taken them off!!!!!!! Yes, I realize they are ugly, but I like them!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

My doctor actually recommends them. I've been wearing mine over a year now and do not have problems except for my knees and they are a lot less painful than before. My oldest tried mine on and she is hooked now. She's wearing them at Interlochen this summer. I actually had to buy a second black pair because she stole mine. BTW these are better than my real clown shoes I wore when clowning.

I will never understand why people really care what other people are wearing on their feet, this "debate" amazes me each and everytime!

::yes:: I agree.. Why does anyone care what anyone else is wearing? If you dont like them, then dont wear them..

I have 5 pair of them, 3 of the beach style and 2 of the nile. I don't care if they look ugly as my chiropractor recommended them to me after I had heel spurs. I have no foot pain after walking all day in them. They are comfy like slippers.

I found a pair of tiny purple Hang Ten ones at Toys R Us yesterday for my granddaughter so she can have shoes like Grandma.

I'm not a Crocs fan,I could never get into them, but some colors make them look worse than others. Black ones with pants aren't really noticeable. Purples and blues sort of blend in with jeans. Red, orange or yellow ones look a little more clowny/cartoon-like, esp. if the wearer is also donning shorts and a fanny pack. ;) I like Land's End Sea to Shore shoes. The Crocs flip flops aren't bad looking, though. I was considering a pair of those for pool/beach so I won't ruin any of my nice flip flops or slip in any of my cheap foamy ones.

OK Riddle me this??? While atending our local amusement park ( Paramounts Kings Island)...I noticed a large group of..what I thought , were performers..they were wearing....what apeared to be orange and red..CLOWN SHOES! :rotfl: As They got closer..I noticed they were actually ladies whom had chosen to wake up..bathe, put on make-up, nice clothes...and then DON CLOWN SHOES??? :lmao: I cannot help but ask the question...WHAT THE HECK??? :confused3

I have donned FLAMESUITE and am prepared for the worst!

Surely to GOD I am not the only one who CANNOT make sense on the CLOWN SHOE sensation, overtaking our Nation!!!

I bet the NIKE shoe pimps are steamin' over this one!

can't wait for the AIR-CLARABELLS to hit the mall in "07"!!!

:wave2:

OMG, finally someone agrees with me!!! I think they are the tackiest, ugliest, most clown looking shoe I've ever seen. :rotfl:

To each their own..

I agree they're ugly, but I've seen uglier shoes (and boots) posted on this board and people raved about how cute they are. To each his own. I own a pair of navy blue crocs, but you'll never catch me in high healed fur lined boots!

No you aren't the only one. I think they are the fugliest shoes ever made.

Couldn't agree more.

And I'm not one who's big on gender stereotypes, but they have GOT to the most un-manly thing I can think of.

Personally, I love my Nike Shox and have never had such a comfortalbe shoe.

I think it's just kind of friendly teasing...

I have never tried Crocs, but I do have arthritis in my feet and I will wear anything that is comfortable and makes my feet feel better. The older I get the less I care about fashion and the more I care about comfort.

We are going to Disney next month and wanted something comfy for my girls, so off shopping we go and low and behold my 7yr.old spotted them and fell in loveJust wish I could of found a size to fit my 6yr.old! :sunny:

I think a lot of people on this thread that don't like them have said that. I think Crocs are butt ugly shoes, but hey, wear them if you like them. No shame in thinking a certain type of shoe/clothing is unattractive.

Have you ever noticed how many nurses at doctors offices wear them?!!!!

I have been told by nurses that it makes work and long hours so much more bearable. My mom has even looked at them (she's a medical assistant at an OB/GYN's office).

WOW! I was expecting the worst! But it apears most are in agreement with me to rid America's themeparks of CLOWN Shoes :cool1: .. It's a Stephen King thing..The clown from "IT" still gives me the goo :guilty: ..and those shoes ARE NOT HELPING! :sad2:

It seems my dear wife is the only person FLAMMING me for this post!

So, as to fulfill our agreement, NO CLOWNSHOES for her!...she gets a nice, respectable pair of BOWLING SHOES!!! :thumbsup2

I take my leave with a quote from that early 90's rap sensation The Digital Underground...

To be fair to your wife you need to do a poll & let the Dis people know why you are doing it. Most Croc lovers are ignoring you because this type of thread is common.

The real Croc problem is once you put a pair on your hooked & then converted

At first I thought they were hideous and refused to even look at them. Plus I figured they wouldn't be comfortable on my feet since I have very flat feet (all the other shoes that are so comfortable to other people--like Birkenstocks--hurt my feet). Then I tried them on and got over thinking they were ugly. I do have small feet, so that helps them look a little less clown-like. LOL!

Thanks for answering my questions about them not being hot. Yes, they are not the most attractive shoes but I have pretty severe arthritis so I think as long as my feet stay cool I'll give them a try. Heading out to buy them....

They look like they would GIVE you Arthritis IF you wear them. :sad2: I agree with the OP ALL the way! :thumbsup2
