Me DD (22) assured me on our WDW trip that Crocs are totally over, ende, finito, kaput. I thought I would see a lot of people wearing them at the parks but I didn't. As a guy, I don't need to be "seen" in stylish footwear, but based on the number of Croc's newbies I see here on the Dis, I was surprised to hear how "five minutes ago" these shoes are. BTW, I wore my Airwalks (knock-off Croc's) all over WDW. I wouldn't say they prevented tired feet, but I was no worse for wear. :earsboy:

I'm always behind the time because I just bought a pair of Crocs and plan on wearing them on our WDW trip! :teeth:

Who cares?

I was wearing them before they were trendy and I'll be wearing them long after they stop being trendy. They're comfortable. That's all I need to know!

I wear them because they are comfortable, I don't care if they are "five minutes ago" . Gee, how high school is that

Someone who is 22 has both the time and energy to worry about what is "so over." I do not. My kids love them, they are very practical for the summer, and best of all, they are comfy.

I got a pair of the new Crocs flip-flops and can't wear them to WDW in July. I'll have comfy feet, even if they're not trendy. ;)

I saw lots of people wearing Crocs at WDW a few weeks ago. :confused3

I saw tons of people wearing them at Disneyland and DCA on Monday. In fact my sister asked me "What's with these big ugly shoes? Does Disney market them as character shoes?" She was certain the yellow ones were Donald Duck feet!

I don't think they were ever fashionable.

I was there at the same time as Blondie, and I agree.

But honestly...who cares? I wear what I find comfortable, period.

Saw a bunch of people wearing them at Sea World and Busch-haven't been to WDW since March.

That said, I just bought two more pairs for me, and one pair for each of the men in my family. If they can get rid of the foot pain I had, then I'll wear the ugly shoes. At least now I will have a cute pair to match my non work shirts to go with the three practical pairs that match the work pants, lol.

My men are non traditionalists. DH wanted Orange (a la Mario Batali), my 6yo wanted Lime Green and my 10 year old wanted Red. I had to have my turquoise 'fun' pair after ordering those!

s

I too saw many folks (whole families) wearing Crocs each visit I have made including the two past weekends.

I too am not a slave to fashion, and will continue to wear them!

Can't comment on their popularity in WDW
But, they're just seriously making it to NH. At the start of the year the only kids on my dorm floor that had heard of them were the out of staters (Colorado and Pennsylvania). Now lots of people all over campus have them. NH does tend to be behind the rest of the world though

Your a guy? Why do I think everyone is a girl around here? I thought bicker was a girl for a long time too.

I think they are actually really coming into their own. I wear them at work and get a few questions day about my shoes and their comfort. I should work for Crocs I send so much business their way. Last night at the grocery I was in line behind two women wearing them.

Crocs is now the new Beach Volleyball Tour sponsor and I suspect that will bring them too new heights.

I have gotten a couple of "those are cute" comments, so I know they will be everywhere soon. People will ride any fashion wave out here, I know I sometimes hop on too.

Since they are still relatively unknown I feel like I am part of a special club, but I think that time is ending soon.

Because of these boards, I found out about Crocs.
I then discovered them at my dentists office, and a friend who is a veterinarian wears them.
I am getting a pair to work at the clinic. That way if we have a dog with Parvo, I can take of my shoes and hose them down.
I could care less about fashion, I don't want to bring home parvo to my dog.

As a nurse we have been wearing crocs for a few years, but in my profession I am not concerned about fashion-Only comfort counts.

I am wearing my new croc flip flops next month to WDW-even if they are out of style!! :goodvibes

I looooooove my Crocs! Forget fashion, I'm all about the squishy shoes. I get a wave of panic when I think about them not making them one day. :scared: :faint:
