Crocs are "SO OVER"

Love my Crocs! I am going to wear my blue Crocs with jeans on the plane for my upcoming flight to New Orleans. I have a 7:00 am flight and since they make you take off your shoes going thru security anyway, what easier way then to slip on and off my Crocs.

I used to go for fashion with my shoes when I was younger, and my feet are paying for it now.

It's comfort, comfort, comfort all the way. "Over" or not, crocs are comfy, so these middle-aged feet will keep on wearin' them!!!

Me DD (22) assured me on our WDW trip that Crocs are totally over, ende, finito, kaput. I thought I would see a lot of people wearing them at the parks but I didn't. As a guy, I don't need to be "seen" in stylish footwear, but based on the number of Croc's newbies I see here on the Dis, I was surprised to hear how "five minutes ago" these shoes are. BTW, I wore my Airwalks (knock-off Croc's) all over WDW. I wouldn't say they prevented tired feet, but I was no worse for wear.

She's wrong. They still havent even "caught on" here, in Chicago. They're ***just*** starting to take off (seeing knock-offs...finally)

I think a lot of people who wear crocs don't really care about fashion. Crocs were making it big a few years ago on the MTSU campus. Maybe those kids have moved on to a new trend but for people who go for comfort, crocs will be just like Birkis!

I haven't even bought my first pair yet. DH just bought orange ones on Sunday. He'll be so upset at this "news", he is such a slave to fashion! LOL
