Crockpot in a Studio

I'm guessing that the OP means a DVC Studio?

Yes, you can "cook" in your studio, but let me say that you may not want to. The kitchenette in the studios are more like a wet bar. Your refrigerator is the same size as the ones in the regular resort rooms. There's very little counter space and much of it is occupied by the coffeemaker and toaster. The sink is small and not very deep. You will have a tough time cleaning up afterwards.

On top of that, you will be sleeping in the same room that you prepared that meal in. While dinner may smell delicious, you may not want to smell it at 8 AM the following day.

Then, there's the question of whether you want to pack or purchase a crock pot for the one or two meals that you will use it for. At some point, the inconvenience of bringing it may outweigh any savings you may get from making your own dinners.

Sorry, I didn't realize I was still looking at the Budget Board thread when I posted this.

I meant a studio villa at Disney World.

Off I go to the DVC thread! :)

Thank you!
