Crockpot and Easy Meals "Index post 372"

Whatever you do don't post that on the thread for the mom that did 1 year of menus:lmao: I'm thinking that wouldn't pass the muster for healthy nutrition moms.:rotfl2:

Just kidding. I mean the tater tot casserole not the chili BTW. Not sure how chili would pan out in that discussion.

I'll have to find that thread and take a looky even though I don't think I will be finding any recipes I like there:lmao:

I have attempted to make an index post of all the recipes in the thread so far. The name of the recipe or if no name is listed the type of recipe will be listed as a link to the post with the recipe itself. Hope that makes sense and maybe the OP can change the name of the thread to reflect which post has the index and I will try to keep it updated as time goes on.

You rock WDmommy of 4. Know how many times I have had to scroll through this thread?

My crockpot leaks water from the top. I called the company and they said I need to add more liquid. I have a 5 qt and alot of times the recipes I have don't have enough liquid to fill it half or 3/4 fill. Is there anything I can add to recipes that won't ruin the recipe in order to have more liquid?

Thanks!

Thanks for the index and I am subscribing. I am testing a couple of recipes right now and let you know.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 bottle buffalo wing or hot sauce ( I use either Red Hot or Steve and Edy's)
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing mix

I made this for Super Bowl Sunday although I changed it just a bit!
1/2 bottle buffalo wing sauce
1/2 bottle BBQ sauce
1 pack hidden valley ranch salad dressing mix
it wasn't unbearably hot and everyone loved it!

Made the cranberry pork tenderloin from here yesterday it was yummy. I cooked it less because it was a small one and it still came out great!

Thanks to whoever posted it!

I don't know but I'm going to buy a smaller crockpot.... lots of times my ingredients just barely cover the bottom of the huge one I have....

I already thought of how I'm going to remember- it's page 21 cause I wanna have a glass of wine while making my dinner! It's all about wine with me....

I made this last week, it was okay but the cranberries burnt! Guess I cooked it too long...the meat was tender though.

I got this one off of recipezaar about a year ago. I make it all the time. It's super easy-- you don't even have to defrost the chicken!!!

Crockpot Chicken with Black Beans and Cream Cheese:

Ingredients
4-5 boneless chicken breasts

1 (15 1/2 ounce) can black beans

1 (15 ounce) can corn

1 (15 ounce) jar salsa, any kind

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

Directions
1)Take 4-5 frozen, yes, frozen, boneless chicken breasts put into crock pot.
2)Add 1 can of black beans, drained, 1 jar of salsa, 1 can of corn drained.
3)Keep in crock pot on high for about 4-5 hours or until chicken is cooked.
4)Add 1 package of cream cheese (just throw it on top!) and let sit for about 1/2 hour.
5)All done and enjoy!

Edited to add: I usually serve it over white rice!

I'm going to make this tomorrow night for dinner. Sounds so good and perfect for a cold snowy day. :cool1:

i made this lastweek and it was a big hit! we shredded the chicken once it was done and served it on soft tortillas with sour cream and cheese! my 9yr dd loved it! this was so easy and cheap!

Maybe the OP can edit the title to add the page number the index is on. That way I can just keep updating the index as the thread goes on.
