Anyone been to Crockett's Tavern at Fort Wilderness and if so, can you tell me what appetizers and specifically beers they have? Wondering if it's worth the walk over from WL on our next stay to check it out. We like to try a new resort bar/lounge on every visit and thought this would be a good opportunity to check it out. Thanks!

Haven't stopped in here for quite some time. It's not very large and IIRC there was not an impressive choice of beer on tap.

Pretty much all the resort lounges have gone to a generic menu. So the menu at say POR's Rivers roost is the same as the lounge at YC.
Nachos, wings, crab cake

They are using the area of crocket's tavern for the trails end on most nights. They do have an outdoor window so you can order a drink and sit on the porch. They do have a to go menu with chicken, nachos and pizza.

1) Crockett's is in the "wilderness".
2) You don't have gourmet food or gourmet beer in the wilderness.
3) The munchies are regular bar snackings, and there is no designer beer.
4) But, it is a pleasant atmosphere.
5) We usually make it to FW during a trip, and manage to stop at Crockett's.

For you Disney trivia nuts: according to what I've read, Crockett's Tavern opened in 1986. I assume that Trail's End originally owned that space. Was there ever a bar at Ft Wilderness in the pre-CT days?

1) It was always a bar.
2) However, it used to sell more snacks and sandwiches.
. . . same actual bar as now
. . . had more seating near the bar
. . . behind a wall, there was seating for dining
. . . you could only order food/booze while inside the bar area
. . . you could take food or beverages outside or eat inside at tables
3) It used to be called Campfire Snack Bar.

We been hitting that spot since 1977, when you could make your own pizzas and by the time you went thru the line it was cooked, did this only after 9pm. So many memories, we'd do River Country, Pop's Place for a hamburger. We still manage to go over at least 3 times during our stays, not alot of guests there when we go, we do the tradition pizzas and pitchers of beer the first evening and Trail's End has the best buffet for breakfast and dinner, lunch has changed and we haven't tried it, yet.

That's when it was really fun - not so much anymore.

I'm not looknig for "gourmet" - just decent. More concerned about the beer than the food - if they only offer Bud products, then it's not worth the trip for me. At least a Sam Adams. Do they still do pitchers?

We were there Sept/Aug, Crocketts Tavern and had at least 3 pitchers for polish off all the pizza.
