Croc wearers/fans can you answer a question?

Two pair were made in Boulder, two in China, and two in Canada. All are "Beach" styles.

I'm curious as to why you want to know. :confused3

I have two pair of Beach Crocs; both were made in Boulder.

One pair from Boulder, Colorado

Before I buy some: does it makes a difference?

Btw, as with cars, and other things, production gets diversified over the globe.

Just got up and checked them all out....6 from Boulder, 2 from Canada, 1 from China, 1 from USA and 1 from Italy. Yes, we have a ton of the darned things...dh has two pair, dd has 5 and I have 4. My lavender ones are the ones from Italy.

My Athens and Cayman are Boulder.
The Beach pair (which was too small for me and is now with my sister) is China.

My other pair is also Boulder. That said, my SIL requested that she keep them until her three pairs arrive! We'll have another family to take pictures of 'when crocs attack'

Did anyone see the new ones? There are some woody (a/k/a manly) looking ones!

Yes, and I think I really like the Chubbs!

I saw something else new a couple of days ago, although it's not on Crocs.com. I saw it in a Crocs ad in InStyle magazine - looked like Crocs ballet flats. They looked really cute.

I started a thread asking if anyone had seen this ad, but I think perhaps it got left in the dust with all the excitement on the CB in the last couple of days. :rotfl2:

My reason for asking was -- my first pair was Beach style from China -- love them! I bought a second pair of Beach's and these were from Canada. They didn't feel the same. I went out and found a 3rd pair -- this one is from Boulder.

I was wondering if the China ones were different from the Canada's or if the new ones were made with a slightly different material.

I did get some more information from a manager of a store I was shopping in. She told me that Crocs is reigning in their manufacturing so all the manufacturing will come from Boulder. She said that is why they were hard to find for a little while.

She also told me about the ballet flat ones. She said they are not available in the US yet, but they will be soon. She said to be wary of ordering them online at this point because people are prepaying for them and then not getting them because they are not shipping yet.

Thanks for all of your information everyone!

Hurry up and start a new week them :rotfl2:

sorry but it was funny :teeth:

That's funny.....when I called the crocs number for a replacement rivet and they finally (!!!) called me back (a whole other story!) I asked about the locations. The customer service rep. told me they used to all be made in Colorade but are now being sent out to other places since there is such a high demand. hmmmmm?? Maybe the rep. had the wrong info.
