I AM SORRY THIS MAYBE A DUMB QUESTION, BUT I WANT TO MAKE SURE IAM BOOKING RIGHT. THE BOARDS SAY MAKE RES. WITH A CRO WOULD THAT BE THE DISNEY NUMBER IN THE PASSPORTER OR IS THERE ANOTHER NUMBER? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN CALLING DIRECTLY TO DISNEY AND A CRO. SORRY I KNOW THIS IS PROBABLY A DUMB QUESTION.

I always call the 407-W-Disney number. Sometimes they answer "Central Reservations", sometimes they answer "Walt Disney Travel Company".

There have been times I've called and they've answered the phone "WDTC", I've told them I want to make a reservation thru CRO, and they've given me another number to call.

There have been other times I've called and they answer "WDTC", I've told them I want to make a reservation thru CRO, and they tell me they can do either.

It seems some CM's can do both and some can only do one or the other. Always make that your first question!!!!

Welcome to the DIS Denise and there is a never a dumb question when it comes to Disney! ;)

I agree with Bob, just ask whoever answers the phone if you are talking with CRO. :)

Macy00,
Just in case you didn't already know this, the reason to book through CRO (the Central Reservations Office) is that you can book "room only." The Walt Disney Travel Co. can only book packages, I believe. Also, they have somewhat different cancellation policies, and the CRO policy is more lenient.

well hon..

i was lost as you sound. If i were you (and i was and I did!) i would call Dreams unlimited.. or someone like that. They handle all your stuff and you know they will work to get you the best price!'
