CRO says I have a pin code...

But I never recieved it! I was calling to make some October ressies and the CM said, "Oh, I see you have a pin code - which resort would you like me to check?" I was so excited and said I didn't receive anything with a pin code (unless DH tossed it!) She said it was in the system and so I went ahead and made my ressies at AKL - $119+tax for standard pool and the Poly for $209 + tax for garden view. I called this morning to add a day and the CM asked me for my pin code number. I told her I never recieved one but that I've been told it was in the system that I had one. She told me I would need it for check-in so I asked if she could either give me the number or send it again. She said they don't have it! I am so confused. What would you do?
 
i'd call back (and back again!) maybe call at the same time you called the first time and ask for that cm by name? i think i would explain when i called that i was unsure if i rec'd a postcard 'cause dh throws stuff out, but the original booking cm told you that there was a pin # associated with your name... ask again for the pin # and ask for confirmation of your reservation and cost to be sent to you by mail...

Definitly call back. I called to get a price on POFQ and was also told I was sent an email. I didn't have any record of it but since there computer said I was on the list I was able to book at the Oct-Dec discount. She also said the pin is only required at the time you make your reservation, not check in.
 
kathy, did they give you the number? I wish the CMs all had the same info:(
 

I had the same thing happen to me. I called to make reservations over Labor Day. The CM told me I had a pin code and offered me the BWI Standard View for $199, which I took. (I did not receive a postcard or e-mail -- unless my DH deleted it).

I asked the CM if I needed anything at check-in and he said "No, you are all set because you are pre-qualified."

No she did not, and I didn't think to ask for it. But I have since gotten my reservation and it just states the have the Oct-Dec discount. I'm not expecting any problems since I was entitled to the discount just like you are.
 
OK, thanks guys! I haven't received my confirmation yet so I'll just make sure that's right. I was so excited to get the discount, especially when I never expected it. Now if I can just add that extra night at the Poly with the discount - so far it hasn't been available but I've been told to keep checking! I'd really love to get the GF since it's my parents' 75th birthdays and they have always wanted to stay there but no availability there:( Oh well, I'll keep trying!
 
I had gotten an email, but I did not have my pin code with me when I called to check on rates earlier this week. They quoted me the Sept. direct mail special rates, and said that it was "in the computer", so they do have a way of showing that you received the postcard/email.... When I called in, I punched in my telephone #, and then they confirmed my last name and zip code.... I think that's how the track it. Maybe you should try calling and see if they have you down for any direct mail specials? Couldn't hurt....
