CRO pretty much down until tomorrow

I just called and they are now saying that everything is down and to call back tomorrow. They are being very nice about it and answering any questions they can without having to use the computer.

Did they say why they were down. I can't believe that Disney did all this promotional work about everything being released on 1/2/05, and then they can't even give the information out. I was able to talk to a CM earlier about AAA rates and the MYW packages, but that was it.

I got my price and everything so, now all I need to do is go see AAA Monday morning and see what kind of discount I can get on the packages from them.

That's odd. I called and made a reservation without any problems at all. Maybe you should try again.

Some computers are up and others are down. It depends on the CM you get.

Thanks for the information. I am still going to wait until Monday so I can go see AAA and findout what they can do. I know that I can get a AAA discount on a package through AAA directly according to a CM I talked to earlier.

The upgrade took place yesterday. Apparently not all of the computers came back up.

But isn't that what they have been doing since they took the systems offline Thursday night. I figured that givin the amount of time they have been down up to today, that they would have gotten everything done that they needed to.

Sometimes it's impossible to predict what will happen when you start using a new system. I'm sure they are not happy about this computer issue. Poor cm's. I hope people aren't yelling at them.

I agree. Things happen that can't be controlled.

My dh is a computer programmer, and I can tell you from his experience that, no matter how much time and work is put into it, and no matter how many tests are done, something can always cause a problem when it actually goes into production. Based on his experience, this really doesn't surprise me at all... JMHO
